2019 Buckeyes Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dabo Swinney has acknowledged the (3) players that tested positive for ostarine, may have been given the drug by the training staff.....

As this story gets more attention, look to see how many players were tested prior to the game. If it was a small amount of players, that becomes even more problematic for Clemson. If they tested a large sample of players, and (3) tested positive, it becomes less likely it was rampant use.

Turnabout is certainly fair play....Clemson have been masters at negatively recruiting other programs. They are gonna get hammered on the recruiting trail for supplying guys illegal PED’s.

I'm SURE espin will lead a witch hunt for this, right?

Has anyone else seen this knob Seth Walder's rankings algorithm? :falloff:

It’s Shea Patterson’s breakout year. Harbaugh just needs that 5th senior class to make the final leap.

Justin Fields looks fantastic.

Also the backup safeties are out here making incredible plays.

I thought Fields looked real good as a runner. As a passer I think he was alright especially since he has only been with the team a couple months. The big play to Victor as against a walk on.

I was a little disappointed with Baldwin. He seem to force throws. He also wouldn't set his feet and relied on his arm strength to try to make throws too often.

If Tate would have stuck around, I think he would have really pushed Fields for the starting spot. I think it would have been close if Fields could pick up the system and timing that Tate would of had being at Ohio State for multiple years. There is a clear difference between Fields and Baldwin but I'm not sure it would have been between Tate and Fields. I think it would have been alot closer to Haskins vs Burrow.

Apparently Tate was awful in Miami's spring game and may not even win the starting job there.

That's sad to hear but that's why a player especially a QB shouldn't transfer so quickly. He would have had 3 years at OSU if he stayed, that chemistry and timing he can't build at another place quickly. He also had real game action for OSU.

Watching Tate's highlights from last season and Fields spring game. I think Day would of had a real decision to make come the fall. I think Tate probably would be able to run the offense Day used with Haskins better than Fields. The question would have been how much of a QB run offense Day would have wanted to install.

I expect to see alot of QB runs next year with Fields. Something similar to the offense Braxton ran once Urban got to OSU.

I have Tate coming in on some important goal line possession and getting stuffed multiple times from the 2 seared into my brain. I don’t remember him doing well, even if he did. He also left instead of competing for the spot. I am not bitter, I just don’t really gaf about him anymore.

Fields. Give him some time. Hard to replace the all time passing record setter QB, but he will do some things this year that Haskins couldn’t. As always w Buckeyes football, I am excited. I can’t believe without Urban, who I consider an absolute legend, I am typing that.

I'm excited about Fields too but I like the competition of the spring and the fall. It's probably why I wish Tate stayed. I don't think Tate has the ceiling Fields does but he might have been able to come in ahead of him and held him off as a starter for a year.

It will be interesting to see how quickly Fields picks up the offense and develops. I'm tempering my expectations because he will be in his first year in the system and it will be his first year getting alot of playing time. I expect closer to TP and Braxton's first year than JT or Haskins first year starting.

Love love love Haskins, but I’m looking forward to having a QB that can move again.

Im also looking forward to having a true #1 RB instead of two guys splitting it. I want to see what Dobbins can do as the bell cow and having a running QB again.

Also I'm interested to see what they do with Demario McCall especially since KJ Hill is the most experience receiver. Will Mccall be the hybrid or the backup RB? Is the hybrid even a position with Days offense now? I could see McCall being use like Samuel was when Zeke was on the team. Then Master Teague might end up with the title of backup RB.
