2019 CFP Fiesta Bowl | #2 Ohio State vs. #3 Clemson | November 28th, 2019 @ 8 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I may have been really drunk watching that game dont really remember the Fumble TD being that mad about the night of the game. I look back at replay now and am just Wow... That is like Saints missed PI level of a bad call. I hate the Wade call and this wont be popular but with the way rule is written that was probably targetting. Its just a bad rule and it needs to have 2 tiers like the NBA flagrant foul. If you get 2 targetting 1s at any point in the season then the supension kicks in would be better. Just a bang bang play where even if the defender tries to use the shoulder the QB can just move ( not wisely) to innitiate the helmet to helmet as well.

I was the same way. Extremely drunk and I guess I didn't grasp how bad of a call that was until I saw it completely sober the next day.

I was more pissed about Wade getting kicked out than anything. Absolute game-changer.

I agree with you on the targeting. He lead with the crown of the helmet. End of story. Keep your head up and it doesn't matter what the offensive player does.

For the fumble:
Imagine that the Clemson receiver gets two feet in bounds, then the ball gets knocked out of his hands after he took two steps out of bounds. Not in a million fucking years would they call that an incomplete pass. It was a bullshit call.

Dobbins catch for a TD that was ruled a TD and reversed was also a TD. He was down before the ball his the ground and came out.

He didn’t finish the catch. That was a correct overturn.

I don't know, he caught it, took a step (made a football move), knee went down, then the ball hit the ground. At that point, it's a fumble, and the ground can't cause a fumble / he already crossed the goal line = TD. It shouldn't have been overturned.

Those are the kind of things that occur in every game. Bad calls but chalk it up to inconsistent officiating.

The fumble call is the only one that infuriated me. Just an atrocious call. But I’m over it. We had out shot. Even at the end.

The problem is, all of them went Clemson's way. Every single one of them.
