2019 CFP Fiesta Bowl | #2 Ohio State vs. #3 Clemson | November 28th, 2019 @ 8 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Game reminded so, so much of the game at home against Texas and vince Young. Ohio State was the superior team the entire night but just could not find a way to make a play when they needed and Texas very best players did.
Ugh. That's a pretty good comparison. I was at that game, too.

Though, I don't recall the refs boning us on multiple occasions in that one.

Yeah, must be nice having 13 bye weeks before the playoffs.

Yep, hopefully this sparks some conversations about change.

This game was just a nightmare for replay and refs. The targeting, the roughing vs running into punter, the catch/fumble. All monumental calls and they fucked us on each of them.

The running into the punter was pretty clear cut. Urban use to run the special teams and I think that play would have never been designed that way. It would have been stressed how they couldn't touch the kicker and avoid him at all cost. Urban seem to find the guy who could tip the ball and that was the only thing they would go after.

If you rewatch that play, it's the second guy who gets thru who makes contact. There was no purpose for him to keep going he was right behind the first guy.

They didn't call running, though. They called roughing.

If it was just running, it would still have been 4th down.

The buckeye player that got the punter hit him square in the body while still in the air. Running into the punter is usually when they hit the kicking leg when he comes down.

Oh okay. Honestly I don't really know the rule. I just know one is a 5 yard penalty and one is 15 yards and a 1st down.

Half of Clemson's points came courtesy of 15 yard/automatic 1st downs after the defense got off the field. It just sucks.

Fucking Lawrence has another year left too. Fml.

From a pure talent stand point he's as good as Andrew Luck.

Now imagine Luck had elite skill position players everywhere around him in college.

To me he's one of the most surefire QB prospects ever

I was so hoping to be the team that prevented them from becoming the first team to go undefeated in back to back seasons since Nebraska.

Cause we also stopped Miami from doing it.

Clemsons recruiting class is disgusting too.

Ohio State’s is up there too though.

Honestly lawrence returning is crazy but we had them beat last night. It isnt like we looked like ww didnt belong or some shit

They couldn't do shit. Their entire offense was Lawrence running and refs extending two of their drives.

When Wade was on the field, they had 0 points and averaged 4 yards per play.

We will need new guys to step up in the secondary for sure though in the rematch next year.

It would be amazing if Lawrence goes back to back, undefeated and then looks at what happened to Tua this year and says '"nah. I'm calling it a college career and sitting out."

Yeah, I don’t think they had better athletes/players at all. I don’t know that I would rank any one of their units ahead of ours. We failed to execute and they didn’t.

I dont think any of our LBs would have caught Dobbins.

Honestly don't see how Bosa experience doesn't impact this going forward. If your a first round pick sit the out
