2019 Cleveland Browns Training Camp

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not sure if this is serious. It sure looks like Dorsey missed big time on Corbet, but 50% of the first round busts much less 2nd round. He had 4 picks in the first 2 rounds and hit on 3 of them. He beat the odds, just couldnt hit all 4
I always put my sarcasm in italics.

If anyone searched for your posts in the Indians section, there have been times where the entire page is nothing but troll posts. Not a single post with any substance.

But yes, rather than address the point, shift focus and demean one of the most knowledgeable and informative posters in that section because he's been banned in the past.

(paging a mod to clean "Indians sub-forum dirty laundry" out of a Browns thread)

I understand where you’re coming from. Others will understand where I’m coming from. Our posts will be deleted.

Until then, I was just having a little bit of fun as are the other posters in here and the Indians threads. Not intentionally at anyone’s expense. Not trying to hurt anyone directly. I can see how those would annoy people.

It’s the direct insults that bother people regardless of how helpful someone is otherwise. Until that stops, people are going to appreciate digs.

The problem has been dealt with directly and clearly. I do not anticipate any more trolling behavior from BMan from this point forward.

If others cannot contain themselves in the aftermath, I guess that is proof positive why staff addresses troll behavior.

If you are here to discuss the Browns during training camp, get back to that topic.

To summarize: 6th Rounder and small school star Drew Forbes as well as former Texans right tackle Kendall Lamm have been given more exposure to the starting line. Are they contenders for right guard or are they being prepared for injury situations that might come up? Stay tuned.

Just seeing if my new username shows now.. That is All. Should be able to tell who I am from the profile pic and the Random Capitalization..

Sounds like Forbes’ athletic ability and work ethic are crossing paths with a good position coach. I’ll be watching the third game very closely — one way or the other.

I’m not going to contribute to the Corbett is awful commentary because I’ve already done my share of it, but it sounds like it’s a foregone conclusion that he won’t be a starter at any spot unless players in front of him are just unavailable.

I firmly believe that Forbes is being groomed to be the RG either this or next year.

I also am pretty sure Lamm is going to be the LT next year. He's an above average pass blocker but a miserable run blocker. I don't know why they would use him as a guard.

Well, I wouldn't be too mad that Corbett hasn't panned out if muuuh fugggin Prospect X mauls his way to the starting unit. Dude is a true man-beast, with some extra beast on the side. Doesn't have a ceiling.

I’m completely fine with kush being the starter week 1. Give a little time for Forbes to develop. He’s obviously the long term guy for that position and with Compton coaching him up, I feel pretty damn good about him. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him take over the starting spot after a couple weeks

I read that Ward had been dealing with something since the start of camp but there was nothing specific. I searched and didn’t find anything pertinent to him recently suffering one.

Edit:

Here Kitchens mentions a tweak — on 8/7 which is right around where he became limited. If he was in protocol, wouldn’t he have been completely out until cleared?

I’m quick to be paranoid with stuff like this but it really doesn’t sound like he was concussed.

I actually kind of agree with this. Fun is fun, and if he does it just for fun once in a while no big deal. But he should be yelled at for this because it is a bad practice habit and we should only practice good habits.

With that said, it is a really fucking impressive catch, lol

It's a way a ridiculously talented player keeps himself interested in practice.

The real keys for OBJ in practice now are 1) learning the offense, 2) route running, and 3) getting down his timing with Baker. None of those things are implicated if he chooses to screw around occasionally with how he makes the actual catch.

Truth is...circus catches are occasionally required in the NFL anyway, so pushing himself a bit in that direction isn't completely useless.
