2019 Cleveland Browns Training Camp

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Are there many teams in the NFL that do this? I know it's done in College
I honestly couldn't tell you, but I'm sure some team will eventually figure out how to approach it. My bet would be on Philly or the Browns*.

The NFL is steeped in tradition, but I'm guessing that the reason so few teams have one guy do both is because they are both very precise and valuable skills. You don't want the worst punter by a large gap in the NFL just because you wanted one more running back.

While I think the majority of teams will oppose it, I truly believe there's a handful of teams that will experiment with keeping a kicker who can also punt or vice versa. That team will be able to add an extra dressed player each weak to combat matchups, (good WRs means the team can dress an extra CB for instance) or whatever. I'm very intrigued by this potential opportunity to gain an edge vs the majority of the NFL.
Hes like the football equivalent of Shohei Otani. I bet he could even be on kick coverage with his rugby skills- he could be 3 roster spots in one.

Why bring in Braxton Miller? He is behind others, hasn't looked that good in 2 years, and frankly might be our biggest position of strength.

Maybe a favor to his agent? Or do we think he can win the job.
