2019 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Re: Iowa vs Michigan:

I actually hope Iowa (or Minnesota) goes 12-0. Would bode well for SOS purposes if OSU were to make the Big 10 Championship Game. And I would prefer not rematching Wisconsin.

Chris Ash out at Rutgers. Perhaps Schiano will retake the Rutgers job.

Greg Mattison certainly is near retirement and Jeff Hafley might be on the fast track for a promotion. Don't know if either will happen this offseason, but if we had a need, I'd welcome Ash back as D coordinator.

Mattison and Hafley likely aren’t going anywhere.

This off-season maybe not, but if the defense continues its strong play I’d bet hafley it s a HC within a couple years.

Michigan’s offense still hasn’t been particularly impressive but Iowa is like ha no we will put 10 times today

Iowa was just penalized in like 5 of its last 7 offensive plays. Unwatchable on that side of the ball right now. It’s like week 1 Browns vs Tennessee all over again.

Michigan looks like an 8-4 team

Why did Ferentz let 30 seconds run off?

Both Florida and Auburn suck. Jesus this is terrible football

Is a tie in the AP poll common? Can’t say I remember that; I wouldn’t doubt it, I just don’t recall.

Minnesota is undefeated and unranked.

Ahead of them:

3-2 Texas AM with wins over Texas St, Lamar and Arkansas (who lost to San Jose St)
Memphis, whose best win is over Mississippi
SMU, whose best in is over 3-2 TCU
Wake Forest, whose best win is BC
