2019 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
let’s say UGA loses:

Is Utah out if OU wins? Utah was ahead of Oklahoma in last week’s playoff ranking albeit that could change with OU’s win over an at-the-time 3-loss team?

I think at the very least it warrants a discussion.
I definitely think it's a discussion. My guess is the hierarchy goes 1.) Oklahoma 2.) Utah 3.) Baylor. Oklahoma will have better wins. They MOV hasn't been stellar every week, but that didn't stop them last year.

It is a nice debate. But, I would personally put Utah in over Oklahoma if there is limited chaos. I have no idea what the committee would do. I just happen to think that they have passed the eye test better than the Sooners even though I know that is a very subjective take. Utah would have a better loss and the Sooners would have more wins against better opponents. So, it would be a close call.

As it's been discussed, it'd be great for us to hold onto #1 and draw Utah/Oklahoma in the first round. Neither of them scare me and it allows LSU and Clemson to battle it out to face us.

Still would not be surprised if they swap up into #2 after LSU's marquee SEC championship win over Georgia.

So far they've kept Utah ahead of Oklahoma, but I think the way either team wins will be a big factor in deciding the final 4.

Michigan should just focus on becoming a basketball school like UNC or Kansas.

I am positive this is what will happen. Lsu beats georgia, and barring another 59-0 type Big Ten game, LSU will be number 1.

Gonna be tough going through clemson and lsu
Boys. But that is the fucking way.

Assuming both teams look the same Ohio State will finish number 1. Stop doubting me on these, boys.

If LSU dominates Georgia, then they get to 1.

Is this a prediction or your opinion? Either way Michigan should be ahead of Notre Dame IMO. A third loss to the #1 team should not drop you below a team you demolished a few weeks ago. It's why I've agreed with the committee in keeping Wiscy ahead of Michigan through the season, they smashed them head to head.

Biased opinion. I thought Michigan looked like trash and I don't like their crybaby fans, so that probably played into it. They probably should be ahead of ND though.

Flip Tennessee and Mississippi State; other than that I have no qualms

Also is that LSU -5.5 easy money or have I lost my mind?

I think LSU handles Georgia pretty easily. Can't see the Dawgs scoring enough to keep up in this kind of game, even though LSU's defense has been kinda eh.

Georgia only put up 30+ once in their last seven games, and that was against trash Georgia Tech. LSU has scored 30+ in all but one game so far this season.

I think there's a chance where it's not even close, something like 49-20 LSU.

Look if Towson is at 19, then UMBC deserves some love as well.
