The college football season is upon us. ESPN made a great choice for the national game right now with Chip Kelly's soft UCLA squad facing off against an Ohio Strong Cincinnati Bearcat team. I can't stress enough how soft PAC 12 football has become. Chip's job might be in jeopardy already.

I'm so glad I switched from a meaningless Browns fourth preseason game to watching Ohio boys beat the shit out of Southern California fancy pants nancy boys.

So California looks to be passing a bill that will prohibit the NCAA from barring from competition athletes who make money from endorsements.

I'm sure a lot of folks believe this is a great idea. The problem is that it will be impossible to distinguish between an endorsement, and alumni funneling money to players during recruitment. It's basically legalizing paying college players. So you're going to have the wealthiest programs buy up all the talent. Sure, they have an advantage now, but nothing like what we'll see if this becomes the rule.

The more time passes, the more obvious it becomes why Miami can't let go of us beating them in 2003. Since then their program has become a joke, including a SHUTOUT against Louisiana Tech tonight in the Walk On's Independence Bowl. They want to re-litigate 2003 because they know it's their best shot at winning a national title.

Also, good lord is the ACC a joke. Clemson is obviously on a historic run right now, but what a cakewalk that conference schedule is.

With MSU not losing (hardly a win) and Iowa pounding USC, the B1G is undefeated so far in bowl games.

My hope is the conference goes undefeated or just Michigan loses. The UM-Bama game is win-win. We already beat Michigan so anything they accomplish now makes us look better, plus fuck Bama. However, them losing is always welcome. The only thing I wouldn't enjoy is a Michigan win while we lose to Clemson.

Assuming they lose, does the Golden Boy finally get heat for, ya know, never winning one of these games?

As an OU fan. These officials can get fucked. What in gods green fucking earth are they getting paid

Big swing after that missed PI call

If LSU hangs another 7 on them here this thing is over

Testament to how bad the Big 12 is that Oklahoma keeps making the playoffs.

Dude getting ready to be ejected overshadows Burrow stepping out a half yard short, but getting spotted a yard beyond the marker.
