Is it just me or does he look younger than he is? Some people take longer to mature, and to me he looks like he is still growing into his body. He is very skilled, but still looks sort of awkward and youthful at 22. He has that floppy awkwardness that most teens grow out of.

Some guys bodies just need more attention, regardless of age.

I don't mean to slander Belmont but I'm not sure how much emphasis there was for him on strength training. In terms of gaining weight. For certain body types, it takes more focused training and eating. You also have to be careful with shooters specifically, if they don't naturally carry weight on their frame. You don't want to stiffen him up in the process.

I think there's a happy medium with him....where his body will mature enough to play the 4 in spurts but he won't get too big, limiting the things he currently does well. But it will take him working harder than he has and getting on a strict nutrition program.

Just watching Dylan play on and off the ball - you can just know he has basketball smarts. He knows what to do and he knows what spots to be in. Very excited to see him play with Sexton and Garland.

LMAO... already got an altered name. The legend has begun.

I really do like this pick, the more I see him play. Windler might be the continuation of the legacy of the LeFuckYou3 after all.

What happened to the banter between me and @The Oi

Guess we forgot to mention Windler in it. Make sure to mention him when we bully each other about each others family members

Watching him, there is one thing he does really well.

Either he draws a foul or he finishes well. His back door cuts are amazing, clearly playing in that Belmont offense really expanded his knowledge of the game and how to maximize how to play the game.

That's the thing that reminds me most of Prince. That guy used to drive teams nuts with just being wide open on backdoor cuts when Billups and Rip would be running the offense. Extremely smart players like Windler will really help Sexton and Garland.

Has some nice vision and touch on passes! Kid is more then Just a spot up shooter. I like the ball in his hands to start the break. Should have more dimes as there were two blown east shots he helped create.

He's just a spot up shooter.

Windier's timing and touch on his passes in the PnR is impressive to me and something he can build on. Knows how to run the PnR as well as drive and dish. Needs to tighten the handle and improve quickness with the ball. I'm hopeful. It's definitely not a necessity, but it's something I think he can do.

Windier's is explosive coming off screens. This is huge. He gets separation with pretty bad screeners. I expect him to get more free with better screeners and with much better PGs to pass him the ball as well as someone who can break down the defense. He doesn't have that luxury in SL.

Looks like a good finisher with either hand because of length and the fact that he is ambidextrous.

Good, smart defender. Similar to Korver, but with much better tools. He knows when to switch, when to collapse, etc. Good rebounder, certainly for his position. Looks like a projected plus defender. Lateral quickness can be better.

Explosive and smart cutter.

His frame is not thin. Don't know why some people say that.

Yeah, that's another thing...

He's basically useless when he has to create a shot.

Many "shot creators" often create bad shots that they consistently miss. In a league that places so much value on the 3 point shot, there is an important role for players that can spot up from a bunch of places behind the arc and make it. Windler can't be one of your 3 best guys on a contending team. But he can be a valuable part of it.
