Good job offer is a good job offer. Hour from CLE and Pitt. Depends on where you live there. There are parts that is a dump.
Parts of any city are dumps. Ytown is not bad. Great downtown. Great parks. Several amphitheater’s Nice arena with good concerts. In normal years. Great restaurants. Mill Creek park. Friendly people. Look to live in Poland. 45 mins to downtown pitts. Housing is stupid cheapGood job offer is a good job offer. Hour from CLE and Pitt. Depends on where you live there. There are parts that is a dump.
Stay off the weave.... In Stephen A. voiceMaybe it was a shitty weave?
J/K..
If you read the article no charges were ever filed against him...Training camp can't start soon enough for this kid though. I'm pulling for him but it's obvious he has maturity issues which is why he also got booted from the USC team. Probably another reason that drafting a wing still has to be in consideration for this team.
All the signs were there, hence why he fell as far as he did in the draft.
We took a gamble...... hopefully he cleans his act up because the bad news is piling in awfully fast.
He seems to have gotten close to Gottlieb. Not sure on how his home life was, but I am wondering if his sister is here to be a "motherly figure"; even though she may not be the most stable person. This could be one of the teams concerns & Gottlieb, who is a great bball mind, is also trying to fill in that role.Definitely makes more sense what we were hearing when coaches were asked what was up with him during the bubble. They just said he needed structure and didn't comment much about how he was performing in the bubble. The road back showed some impressive passes and moves from him, but Bickerstaff and Gottleib talked more holistically.
KPJ's father was murdered when he was 4 years old..similar to the Kawhi story.
similar to 90% of the nbas backgrounds. Everyone has a sob story.
I agree. I think some of the stuff is being blown out of proportion a bit because of who KPJ is and the reputation he came into the NBA with. He needs structure and to be surrounded by the right people. Then I think he’ll be fine. This story is nowhere near as important as the handgun story, imo. He never got filed and, at worst, was defending his sister.
Listen, the kid has some issues. We all knew that he had some issues as did the Cavs. Federal offenses (like the handgun), in my mind, are much more important than this type of thing. And frankly, I do not even think the handgun thing is an enormous deal as long as it wasn't combined with something like a DUI.
