I hate some of these offseason videos so much.

He doesn't look like he's going even remotely hard... and unfortunately I can't get impressed by him "going off 1 on 1" against some guy training him at half speed.

You guys think Sexton works out at that speed? He's 100% everything he does. Garland doesn't show me that in any of these videos, and that's why Sexton will continue to separate himself from Garland.

I think when it comes to Darius, he's got to prove he can do two things more effectively this season. Finish his drives/floaters whatever his close came ultimately is. He also needs to be much better on his three point percentage as this is one of his "elite skills" which got him drafted by us at number 5.

I truly believe if there is a guy on a short leash to get better he's it. He's got to show them he's one of the guys moving forward pretty quickly. As a fan, I am willing to give him a bit of a pass for last year as he hadn't played a lot of hoops prior to hitting the NBA. That is one helluva jump to make and adjust. I like the way he passes the basketball and from this workout you can tell he should be an elite shooter. I just wonder if he can get enough people to bite on his driver to allow for open looks at three? I still think he shoots it too low to consistently make in your eye kind of three's or even jumpers.

The one last thing I DID like about him was he seemed to play better when the game was on the line. That is the sort of stuff you can't teach.

Yep. He has to kill people from 3/ he can't pass any semi-open shot up. He has to murder people from 3. If he can't just smoke you from 3, his game falls apart. He has that effortless shot, but I am worried because there weren't many games where he was just on fire hitting everything. He had some good games, but none that were just scorching. He doesn't have to be the model of consistency yet, but we need to see some games where no one can stop him.

I think this is from last year
I think it’s new as it was posted just a week ago. Darius looks thicker and like he’s put some weight on.

He has a low release on his shot which reminds me a lot of Steph Curry’s shot. Steph has a lightning quick release so he’s able to get away with it. Bringing the ball in front of your face is not the way you would teach someone to shoot, but it’s certainly hard to argue with the results.

Nah, I believe it's old.
It was posted a week ago, but I remember similar videos from him practicing with Ben Simmons in the same settings.

Edit: Well @Henry Tuttle just posted a link that proves it.

Those Lab Lens videos are practically unwatchable between the horrible camera angle and that Jamal Richardson guy constantly running his mouth.
