But the land goes as well...? maybe we need to trade both.
you could make the case for both, either, neither.. Maybe you do need to move one to the bench and make a Price/Kevin Johnson battle happen. Would they tank it to get themselves traded away from Cleveland though?

We probably end up keeping one, we will see how we actually build. Just keep playing all the young kids, increase their value and keep developing them, then we will turn the assets into a roster that makes more sense, but we are still a couple years at the min from that

Err, it passes me off that you did not get my reply to your msg.

Land=property. Divorce.

Garr.

Actually, you probably did but decided to turn your serious switch on.

I didnt, i missed it completely, never intentional

I hope he can figure it out and work out long term.

The bar is really, really low in this thread currently. I can point to any random game on any random night and find a point guard producing at this level.

I'll just leave it at that.

How old are those guys?

Darius made progress this game. Calmly methodically took over and won the game. We have only seen it a couple times.

I was doubting before, but he is just trying to fit in. He needs just 10% more swag. He is a baller

After the win, Garland expressed his excitement over being the Cavs’ top ball-handler and the trust the team has in him.
“It’s giving us the ball, and they’re trusting us,” Garland said. “That’s the one thing that has really just made me more confident like they trust us. It’s super cool having the ball in my hands, and I know that my teammates and the coaching staff know that I’m going to try to make the right play 100 percent of the time.”

Garland explained the joy that he is having from moving the ball around in the Cavs’ offense.
It just brings joy to me when I get an assist, I’m not going to lie,” Garland said. “When people are making shots, it’s fun to watch. That’s all I’m trying to do is have fun on the court, and when I’m getting everybody involved, I’m having fun, and they’re making shots, they’re having fun. It was a team effort. I tried to stay aggressive and find open guys.”

I think year three is the more appropriate indicator for getting a true read on Garland. it just can’t be discounted that his rookie season came after only 5 college games. It’s only natural that that would stunt his development curve a bit.

Regardless of how low the bar was set last year, he is up in almost every category. Taking more shots, making more shots, higher FG% and 3P%, rebounds up, assists up, steals up, turnovers the same, almost all advanced stats up. And he’s doing it while having really no veteran mentor(Delly wasn’t at games until recently) and while finding a balance in playing with another player who identifies as a PG. He’s up to top 25 in the assists per game. Of the other 24, there are several teams with multiple players ahead of him, so he would be the leading assist player on 11 other teams.

He has a lot of growth he still needs to make, but I think It’s really worth waiting until year three before really trying to put labels and limits on him Or talk with certainty about his projection.

Appreciate all the warm feelings and everything, but you people talking about trading Sexton are out of your fucking minds.

I think most people suggesting a Sexton trade assume we are getting a really good player in return, or prehaps a top 5 pick. Not to just trade him for nothing

You know who else just liked to have fun on the court? Larry Hughes.

Huge red flag to me. Trade him.

Do fans before posting about sexton and wanting to trade him and just love garland check and see where Sexton had Simmons who is consider one of the best defender in the NBA on him and still scored big numbers every game the other team put there best defender on him . HE not a flash in the pan he is a ballplayer .

Ballplayers wear plain hats.

i'm glad garland is coming into his own. this win streak looks similar to the win streak at the start of the season. garland played well on those games too. this team is better when garland plays well. hope he becomes consistent.

I would say this about all our first and second year players except for Sexton, who has all the swag he needs. Wade needs another 20% but I know it's still early with him.

Let me preface this by saying I thought Collin played a fine game when considering all factors.

However, scoring 28 points on 27 FGA and 6 FTA while having more turnovers than assists is hardly something to get excited about regardless of who he has guarding him.
