He's constantly improving his ability to determine when to take the 3, when to fake the 3 and drive, when to pull up for the floater, when to keep going for the layup, and when to dish off.

Seven assists last night in addition to the 37 points on 22 shots. That's at least 51 points he was involved in. And only one turnover in 30 minutes of ball handling.

Of all nights to have my first business dinner in over a year. Didn't set the DVR either.

29 assists and six turnovers. That's outstanding.

The Calvinists here will need a higher ceiling.

As much as I like SexLand -- the guy I'm most excited about long term is Okoro.

I'd like to see him string together a bunch of similar or close to similar performances before I can confidently say that he is starting to believe.

He is not there yet... he is still in training. Maybe i'll give him Neo where he was dodging the agent's bullets in the helicopter scene.
When you see him flying down the court and players, benches, refs being sucked up in the wake.. Then he'll be the chosen one...

If he hits a game-winning three, walks off the court and into an old-style phone booth, lifts the receiver to his ear, and disappears ... then we’ll know.

I still wish we had taken Keldon Johnson instead of Windler in '19 and then Halliburton instead of Okoro in '20, but I'm quickly warming up to Okoro. When he took that pass from Garland on a fast break and immediately stepped into a 3-point shot and swished it, he looked like an NBA small forward.

By the way, the Cavs launched two 3-point shots Monday before the defense could get set up, one by Garland and one by Okoro - both successful. They never used to do that. They mostly shot 3's when the shot clock was getting short and there was no path to the bucket. In transition they always looked to get to the hole. Now they're starting to shoot some 3's in transition like the modern NBA teams have been doing for some time now. I think that's a positive development.

He gave me major Kyrie confidence vibes... Need to see him try to dribble passed defenders every game now.

That move he's developed where he appears to step back for a 3-pointer but keeps his dribble alive and sucks the defender in, then blows by him is sick. He's also developed a sweet hesitation move where he pulls up for what looks like a floater but doesn't pick up the ball, then accelerates to the rim. He's learned that he can't slow down to shoot a layup but needs to accelerate into the shot and scoop the ball high off the glass using one hand to avoid getting stripped or the shot blocked.

After getting a lot of layups blocked last year he's figured out how to get the ball high on the glass without it getting swatted.

He's been letting it fly quite a bit more recently. I'm glad it finally had that game where it really paid off. His confidence has seemed much higher when it comes to letting it rip from outside.

You can definitely see why guys were excited about him in camp. A lot of us have seen his talent, but it has been his confidence and swag that were questioned.

He looks a helluva lot quicker this year too. He couldn't get a step on guys unless he really juked them before, and he is regularly breaking the defense now. He didn't look like he had NBA athleticism last year, and now he looks pretty great.

If he just tightens up the handles, he will look real good. Especially as he gets more looks at opposing defenses.

This is huge. I already know he can run an offense and set up his teammates. He needs to become a lethal shooter/scorer if he's gonna make name for himself and put the Cavs back on the map. Last game against the Spurs is the first time it looked possible to me.

Love that he backed up his big game with another strong showing, even if it was against a G league team
