I'm fine w/Garland. He moves the ball, can shoot it, has some nice change of pace handles that are hard to stay in front of, needs to take the shot when they go under the pick more, needs to not give up defensively on plays and he needs to push the ball up court more (by pass or dribble) so the Cavs can play with better pace. (both DG and Sexton kill the pace for the offense in their own ubiquitous ways)
He's going to end up somewhere on the "Good starting PG" (basically where he is now) to "borderline All Star PG" spectrum for his career. He wants to play a bit like Steve Nash, in that he likes circling through the defense to force a passing lane open. Has a ways to go to be Nash-like, but it should be noted it took Steve about 4 years to be Nash-like too.
I'll leave the Alpha/Beta stuff to subreddit gamer-boy trolls with a penchant for Pepe and a misunderstanding of Nietzsche.
