2019 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
AJ Brown is going to be an absolute steal anywhere in the 2nd. Not sure about Cajuste I’m the second right now given the hammy surgery.

I’d be fine with a multitude of players; hopefully we don’t go a chad Thomas-type route.

Cajuste had a quad surgery, which I've heard is much less risky than a hamstring surgery. I really like him in the Browns draft slot, if others don't fall.

I am glad we did not move up. We have a lot of younger players on the team and many who will need to be signed in the next few years. I would hate to give up future 1st round picks to grab a guy this year. If the team does perform and Baker is the real deal, we will need to have our early rounds picks the next few years to add talent.

Now with that said, if we could move up today to get one of the top CBs I would be ok giving up figure pics that are not in rounds 1/2.

I would not want to give up any future picks. I think the only reason you should ever do that is to get an impact player at a critical position -- like QB. We have no hole on this team that would justify mortgaging our future.

We have 8 picks in the remaining 6 rounds, including 3 in the 5th. Maybe we could get another 3rd round pick by trading a 4th and 5th, or maybe squeeze into the bottom of the second somehow. But we have no urgent need to pay a premium in terms of overall pick value.

Trade next year’s 4th and 5th bc we will be the last pick of the round.

I hope that whatever player Dorsey wants, he goes and gets him. Trade #49 and a 5th this year and a 4th next year. Whatever. Get your player.

I hope we somehow get DK Metcalf so I can see half the board have a collective meltdown.

Also I think he's really fucking good.

Chad Thomas will be fine. It’s important to have a guy that can lay down hot beats in the locker room pre-game so you don’t have to pay for streaming service.

He’s that guy.

I'd honestly be fine with Metcalf. With a QB like Baker and the other weapons we've got, he could be absolutely deadly.
