I wonder if they coaches have asked him to roll out and throw it away if nothing is there vs tuke it and run. I think for a young QB with his athleticism, it would be more natural for him to tuke it and run. They just don't have the QB depth behind him to risk him taking a bunch of hits running the ball. Rolling out isn't helping him avoid hit either right now.
They need to work on some WR screens and getting the rest of the RBs involved in different ways to get the defense on it's heals again and less pressure on Fields.

Yeah, that one LB they've got has been swallowing Dobbins up for a while. Was hoping they'd try to get creative and get away from Dobbins up the middle.
Another TD for Ruckert. I think he could be very good this year.

Offensive line has looked like shit, and the refs have blown it on a couple of big calls.
It is what it is, an almost entirely new offensive line, new QB, new coach, first game, etc. Still 35-6, but they definitely took their foot off the gas with about 6 minutes left in the first.

Kind of starting to wonder about Stufwara’s ability to develop because they’ve recruited OL well for a while and the unit performance since Warriner’s departure’s been meh

The play calling certainly hasn’t been doing them any favors, either. Fields has been holding onto the ball a lot today, it seems.

Yeah, no doubt. There are dropbacks wherein he has 4+ seconds and he just isn’t seeing anything. And I get that we have some new players at receiver but I’m a bit incredulous someone isn’t open on those drops.
