2019 MLB Postseason

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Brutal to work all season and get knocked out just like that in the play in game.

I spotted these comments in a Brewer game thread (on a Brewer message board) after the game ended. Thought some here might get a chuckle...

I honestly can't believe they lost. It feels surreal, almost like the 2014 NFC championship. Nothing but NLDS thoughts for 2h45m and just like a train came through and the season is over. Unbelievable and becoming normal for all things WI.

Next up is an undefeated Wisconsin team get demolished in Columbus.

Sad...but probably true.

Yea that loss would crush any fanbase.

Sheffield thinks the Nats will have a ton of momentum going into the NLDS.

Great game!
Yes. It was fun to see. I didn’t have a rooting interest. But, I am curious to see how the Nats rotation matches up versus the Dodgers.

Nats will be more interesting against LA than Milwaukee would’ve been. Plus Cain and Braun could barely walk yesterday.

I agree with walking Rendon to get to Soto. Just wtf was that error. 2 runs were gonna score no doubt, just catch the ball.

I agree with this. From a baseball standpoint, the Nats rotation should at least make them a formidable challenge for the Dodgers. The Brewers at least in my judgement were the worst of the 10 playoff teams.

Throwing some $$$ on the Rays tonight. Just a “gut” feeling.

I am surprised the Rays aren't the betting favorite to be honest. Even though the game is in Oakland, I think the Rays should have the edge with Morton pitching.

I wasn't watching.

Did they intentionally walk him? If so, that is brutally bad strategy to put the go-ahead run on base when you have 2 outs.

No not intentional, Hader was kind of all over the place. The error was so brutal, he over runs it and tries to reach back for it but can't reach it.

Playoff Baseball

^In reference to above, Hader gave up 9 hits to lefties. 5 HR, 3 doubles, 1 triple, 1 single. So when lefties hit him, they usually square him up

I would love to see Oakland win and then knock out the Astros....

Astros are easily one of the best teams I’ve ever seen but the A’s and that atmosphere is always crazy...

Yandy is leading off and playing 1B for the Rays tonight. I didn’t care for the Diaz-Bauers swap at the time, and I disapprove of it even more after this season.

Not saying I liked the deal but I can understand it.

Without the Tampa Bay part of the 3 way deal, there is no return of Carlos Santana to Cleveland.
Remember it was Tampa that kicked in the $6M ($2M this season, $4M next season) to absorb Carlos's contract for this year and next.
