2019 MLB Trade Deadline

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This is an argument for another day, but I don't believe in clutchness

The fact your profile pic is Carlos Baerga is not lost on me. Maybe I was always watching at the wrong time, but that guy always seemed to line into a double play in a close one.

Really well done.

He's a little different, but a lotta complex. Might be too emotional at times, but uber professional. Really wants to do things his own way, but quite a team-mate.

Good luck to you Trevor,
thanks for being you-

Yeah, Trevor was a pretty good dude. A bit off at times, but you can tell he really cared about the team, the city, and the fans.

I'll be rooting for him when he's not facing us, as long as he doesn't go to a team I despise like the Red Sox or Tigers or something.

Didn't see these quotes anywhere. Tito's comments about Bauer are pretty telling....

Regarding Sunday's incident: “I had concerns what it could do to our team, and I voiced those concerns,” Indians manager Terry Francona told reporters Wednesday. “I would never, ever go tell [the front office] something, but they are good enough to always allow me my opinion, and you just try to do the best you can, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little bit worried.”

Bauer also met with Francona for the final time Wednesday, but it wasn’t the heartfelt goodbye some players get when they are dealt away.

“Sometimes it’s emotional and sometimes it’s not quite as emotional,” Francona said. “That’s just being honest.”

More of the same regarding Bauer, as he is one of the most polarizing players in the sport. Even though Tito was glad to see him go, many of the pitchers are lamenting his loss.

If you watch Bauer’s presser after the trade and when Tito’s comments were mentioned, Trevor seemed to show some frustration and wasn’t surprised. Either way, I wish TB the best. Became one of my favorite Indians ever.

In that moment, I wouldn't hold too much against a player or look too much into it. Its a very emotional moment, especially for a young guy that has done an incredible job here. I hope he realizes that the nature of baseball doesn't allow us to keep him.

Part of me hope he struggles the next year and a half and we can make a play for him. But I doubt it.
