2019 Mock Drafts

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
7 round mock from CBS.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft...no-4-panthers-and-patriots-take-qbs-on-day-2/

Round 2 (Pick 49) - Deandre Baker, CB Georgia
Round 3 (80) - Deionte Thompson, S Alabama
Round 4 (119) - Bobby Evans, OL Oklahoma
Round 5 (144) - Chris Slayton, DT Syracuse
Round 5 (155) - Demarkus Lodge, WR Ole Miss
Round 5 (170) - TJ Edwards, LB Wisconsin
Round 6 (189) - Blessuan Austin, CB Rutgers
Round 7 (221) - Penny Hart, WR Georgia State

I'm super high on DeAndre Baker. I think he might be the best zone CB in the class. I like Deionte Thompson as a rangey FS (Not a fan of him doing anything else as a DB though).

I notice in this mock, Daniel Jones goes to the Redskins, just like I grabbed him in ours... except Jones goes at 15 overall here, where I snatched him up at #105 in the 4th round.

In this mock, Lindstrom goes #28. I got him at #46.
Black Cashman goes #73 to New England. I got him at #76.
David Long goes #83 to Pittsburgh. I got him at #96.
Khalen Saunders goes #97 to New England. I got him at #98

I dig it.

So you were using CBS player rankings to make your draft picks?

Our mock was so insanely QB lite....

There may be 3 QB’s in the first round. Yet in our mock I don’t think 3 were drafted until round 4. Completely unrealistic.

Not at all Don't think I've visited that site since last year when their rankings didn't make any sense. I used to love them before that.

Are those what this mock went off of? I didn't read anything but the picks

Lock went high. Jones was the 4th qb, going in the 4th round. I never would've traded up but that's just stupid value

Actually, I don’t think the draft went off anything this year.

Probably why it it only made it 4 rounds.

Maybe it stems from no first round pick? But otherwise I cannot see why you didn’t get an A at least if not A+!

Could be that the players grade at A+ but that players taken do not all fill a need in the eyes of the game ... 3 d linemen may have been in question ... Seemingly a strength of the team

Is there any realistic chance that the Browns can get Justin Layne? The kid is a phenomenal corner.

Yes. Do believe there are scenarios where he would be available.

PFF just put out another mock. Here are some of things that stood out:

1st round
1. They like the 3 top CBs more then most mocks.
2. 5 WR, 3 QB, 1 TE, 1 C, 1 G, 4 OT
3. 5 DE, 4 DL, 2 LB, 4 CB, 2 S
4. surprise 1st Oruwariye CB, Brown WR, Winovich DE, Whiteside WR

2nd round
1. Guys who fell out of 1st--Lock QB, Sweat DE, Harry WR, Simmons DT, Lawrence DT, Little OT, Fant TE, Gary DE, Jones QB
2. Jumped into 2nd--McLaurin WR, Froholdt G, Cashman LB, Schraping OT, Thornhill S,

3rd round
Good value--Dean CB, Harmon WR, Smith TE, Polite DE, Jones DT, Montgomery RB, Campbell WR, McCoy C,

The best part of this 2019 draft is the strength of the top 100 or so prospects, not just the top few picks of the draft. I hope they don't trade up into the first, I hope they trade back in during the second or third rounds for more picks.

All for using 49 and 80 and doing everything possible with the other picks to get another guy in top 100.. I would be perfectly okay going into camp with 3 solid rookies who can play
