2019 NBA Playoffs Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Can’t believe the refs in the Clips Vs Warriors game .... oh wait I can , happened in every one of their series !!!!

That shit is hilarious: I know Beverly has a rep but he gets pushed down and then gets ejected for basically standing up with an appropriate WTF expression on his face?

All of the regular season pretender teams -- Toronto, Philly, Denver -- lose their first games at home but the Warriors win in a blowout. Is there any suspense at all this year about the eventual champ?

I guess Houston could give them some trouble if Chris Paul's leg doesn't fall off or anything.

Portland got out to a great start against OKC, 39 points in the first quarter, but then only 15 points in the second. OKC trailed by as many as 19, Portland's lead is only 6 at the half, crowd is dead. Weird game, OKC is not doing much offensively at all, but somehow fought their way back.

Can't shake the feelings that the Deer are basically 66-win LeBron cavs. Will be a buzzsaw until they meet a team with a few superstars who Giannis may or may not get them through but have no chance in the Finals and may get swept.

It is so strange to see borderline conference contenders have so little three-point shooting. Indiana and, especially, OKC are both really talented but just built without nearly enough three-point shooters. Meanwhile, teams like Orlando and Brooklyn win because of their shot charts.

I would agree with you if Giannis wasn't such a mismatch for other teams. If there was a team that could effectively guard him.. I just don't know. It does seem like that 2009 team, but this Bucks team has even better defenders, and they have better athleticism than that Cavs team. Cavs had a hard time dealing with Orlando's crazy 3 point shooting which is a strength of the Bucks, and they are better shooters than that cavs team.

Bucks look legit, but we will see when they face a better team. I think they are the only ones with a shot to match up with GS and they can guard Durant and provide a worse mismatch on the other end. I don't think any other team can do that.

Lack of experience is the thing that will sink the Bucks if they go down.

Bucks could sweep the East if they wanted, probably drop a couple games though. Against Golden State, they would get swept or lose in 5. But if GSW somehow goes down (doubtful), I'd give anybody a fair chance.

But I agree, the Bucks have the advantage of playing in a weak East. Sixers and Celtics took steps back instead of forward. It remains to be seen with the Raptors but not a good start for them. Don't think they would win where Kawhi isn't focused or committed to the team.

I'd like to see the Bucks win it all this year. Get some new blood in there. Nice team, small market, Giannis is a super person and player.

Bucks have done everything right. It's all home-grown there, supplemented by some shrewd trades.

They did it the right way. They should get out of the East no problem....

And then, unfortunately, they'll lose in five to the NBA all-star team (Warriors).
