2019 NBA Trade Deadline

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Giannis is a great example what a crapshoot the draft is and how one pick can totally change a franchise. Just think if the Cavs had drafted him during the rebuild?

I think the thought is Gasol probably opts in next year for 25 million and JOnas hopefully opts out. At least that's probably what they're banking on.

I've got Milwaukee coming out of the East after the deadline. They don't have the star power of Toronto or Philly...but they've simply got the best player and a team of really good role players around him.

Kawhi is awesome. Embiid is great.

Giannis is the best player in the East and I don't think it's even close right now. He's the best defensive player and the most unstoppable player going to the rim I've ever seen.

The question mark on the Bucks is what a playoff series will do to their offense, as the other team sees it game after game. The precedent being when Bud has the Hawks rolling until they met the Cavs.

But that Hawks team didn’t have a superstar. I don’t watch enough b-ball to even hazard a guess but Milwaukee definitely has a good chance.

Bucks have a ton of cap space next summer.

Giannis should absolutely be talking to Kyrie. Durant isn't gonna happen. He's gonna leave Golden State for his own team.

But Kyrie.....

I wouldn't say a ton of room. They're looking at being around $92 million going into next season. The salary cap is going to be $109 million. $17 million isn't going to be enough to get another star. Not to mention they've traded away several of their upcoming 1st's so it would be very difficult to unload Snell's horrendous contract.

I thought that last year we should have traded Kyrie for Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon, which was supposedly on the table. Was furious at what we did instead.

Nah it's more than that. They'll waive George Hill and only have to pay like 2 of the 18 million.

Brogdon is gonna get a major offer. He's young, he's a truly great shooter (his TS% for a guard in his first 3 years who doesn't get to the line a ton is crazy), he handles the ball. MIddleton probably will get a massive offer over like a 2-3 year span.

Bledsoe probably comes cheaper than those two. Mirotic..I dunno. He's a decent shooter who doesn't defend much, doesn't rebound at an extremely high level...hard to say.

They won't be able to keep them all. So, in lieu of that, I think they probably should just be going all in on Kyrie this summer.

And that Hawks team ran into a team with way more star power and by far the best player. That's not gonna happen to this BUcks team. Leonard is the best player they'll see but Lowry and 34 year old Gasol are not Irving and Love.

And like you said, Giannis>>>>>>>>>anyone on that Hawks team.

Is Fultz an even bigger bust than Anthony Bennett? He’s at least in the conversation, right?
Probably bigger. Bennett was never that loved as most of the top prospects from that draft all had major ????????????????.

Easily my 2nd favorite Giannis after Gianna Michaels.

I wouldn't label him a bust yet because he has only played 34 games and alot of them have been double digits scoring games. He might put it together still.

I think if he ends up a bust, people will always bring up that they gave up Tatum and another draft pick for him. I do think people will view him like Oden if he never is able to be healthy.

Bennett was just so bad the whole time he was in the NBA. I don't think anyone blink twice when we included him as filler to the T'wolves. He was just filler too, neither side counted him as any value.

Yeah, but Fultz’s injury is a lot like Bennett’s injury - nobody knows how bad it was/is. He just sort of forgot how to shoot. Isn’t it like saying a pitcher has an “arm-slot problem”, which essentially means he inadvertently changed his mechanics, and doesn’t know how to change them back?
