Man, that's a lowkey good get for 6ers. He's a beast on defense, and can at times bring the O. They've assembled a great team on paper with the flop that Fultz was (man, they could've been set with a different pick, but I ain't mad)....now they gotta make it work on the court.
The silver lining for Boston in this trade deadline is that they now know they can make the play for Davis this summer...and you bet they will.
Somebody explain to me what the Grizzlies' thinking is in doing the Gasol deal? They got a worse center, very little salary relief, and a second round pick? Couldn't even get a late first rounder for Gasol?
I think the thought is Gasol probably opts in next year for 25 million and JOnas hopefully opts out. At least that's probably what they're banking on.
I've got Milwaukee coming out of the East after the deadline. They don't have the star power of Toronto or Philly...but they've simply got the best player and a team of really good role players around him.
Kawhi is awesome. Embiid is great.
Giannis is the best player in the East and I don't think it's even close right now. He's the best defensive player and the most unstoppable player going to the rim I've ever seen.
I kinda thought it was fun when the Cavs were sweeping teams...Basically, the east is going to be fun to watch in the playoffs with Philly, Toronto. Milwaukee and Boston.
