2019 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Pats have been "done" every fucking year for about 5 years now.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Start believing it because their offense is dead. 16 points at home against the Chiefs defense.

This is by far the worst offense ever with Tom Brady at QB. It’s not just Brady. His weapons and line is trash. The offense is terrible. The Pats offense has never been terrible. Even last season they were still very good, not great.

They’re among the bottom of the league bad in every category. I don’t care who they are. You can’t win it all that way.

Lol, this again?

Patriots will be back in the Super Bowl, and they’ll win if they face anyone other than the Saints.

Pretty firmly believe that the Patriots are going to get beaten by either the Ravens or Chiefs. The offense isn't coming around, their offensive line is finally suffering from too many losses, and their defense looks not greatest of all time anymore.

If they have to go through Baltimore, I think they are going to get the doors blown off of them. I think they are still probably going to be in the AFC Title game, but we'll see.

(Also feeling pretty confident that the 49ers are going to roll in the NFC, but we'll see)

The Packers are the most under the radar team that could easily go on a run and win it all. They could still get the #1 seed in the NFC.

Because the Rams' offense was even more dead.

At the rate things are going, they'll be the #3 seed - as long as they lose their home game against the Bills, which now doesn't seem that outlandish, and play, if we're lucky....us in the wildcard round.

Is it time to start thinking we have a prayer to win a playoff game the way things are looking? :)

Lamar Jackson now -715 to win the MVP award.

The award given to what I'm assuming is the best running back in the NFL each year.

And then you remember Aaron Rodgers running for his life against the 49ers pass rush a couple of weeks ago…

The Eagles or Cowboys are going to host a playoff game.

Yikes.

Historically speaking RB is the 2nd most likely position to have won the NFL MVP.

Welp, here we go again.

May be clickbait/mostly legal in this form...but:

Reminds me of the 2018 mlb playoffs when indians reported the astros for spying. Instead the astros turned it around saying "we were just making sure the indians weren't spying". MLB the publicly took the astros side....

as it turns out the astros were in fact spying.

From Yahoo sports article:
"Bengals employee watched a “monitor” that showed the Patriots’ camera shot was of the Bengals coaches and staff on the sidelines for the entire first quarter. When the Bengals staff member questioned the cameraman, the cameraman asked if they could just delete the footage and it all be forgotten.” They were credentialed as media members from New England working with Kraft Productions.

From the 2016 Spygate report:
"Soon, advanced scouts would be sent to the games of upcoming Patriots' opponents to film the play signals. The scouts would go undercover as media members, with media credentials listed under "Patriots TV" or "Kraft Productions" and were prepared with excuses of what to say they were filming if security asked."

Pretty certain they are breaking the rules again, but the question is, do I even care?

Not saying I don't believe they're trying to cheat to gain an advantage but...why risk it for the fucking Bengals lol
