He’s one of three players in the Indians starting next lineup today that is hitless on the season. 4 if you count Plawecki.

Stamets is John McDonald, never will hit above .200 but defensively could win a gold glove. I would use him as a defensive sub/give guys a day off, that be about it.

We really need to go find a bat that can help protect Ramirez and Santana sooner rather than later. I know eventually Kipnis and Lindor will be back and that should help and maybe CarGo will as well, but I want to go get a corner OF with a legitimate bat. Not sure who is out there, but we definitely need to make a move.

But it’s just not him either to be honest. This teams offense is under more scrutiny than normal since they didn’t acquire any proven hitters and lost two pure hitters then having an MVP out and another everyday player as well
