2019 Series #20 | Indians vs. Twins | June 4th, 5th, and 6th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So do we stink or not? I'm confused . . .

Let's put some things in perspective:
-Our 4 top pitchers have been hurt or pitching like shit all season
-One of our mvp level players has regressed and been incredibly unlucky, and is only hitting .200
-The other mvp level player was injured for a month

However I still feel like there is a huge wall for some of our players to climb. Yet, one hot month is all it takes

Just to add with this. Bauer was great through April, hit a rough patch, but looks like he is turning it around. He said he made a mechanical tweak and has now only walked 2 batters in his last 2 starts, as opposed to 11 in his previous 3 starts. His defense let him down big time last game.

And the bullpen has really stabilized things. #1 ranked bullpen ERA

Pulling this one out tonight would be enormous, but they have to start carrying momentum.

These two wins have been huge, and last night showed they want to fight.

But you have to start stringing it together with a deficit like this. Twins are catchable because of how many divisional games you have left. Just have to get healthy and start producing offensively any way you can.

This isn't me buying in, but the Indians have some bottom feeders on their schedule between now and the All Star Break.

Detroit x6, Kansas City x6, Baltimore x3. Have to take at least 10 of those 15

And then directly after the All Star Break in July:

Detroit x4, Toronto x3, Kansas City x7- along with 3 at home vs. Minnesota

  1. Francisco Lindor, SS
  2. Jason Kipnis, 2B
  3. Carlos Santana, DH
  4. Jake Bauers, 1B
  5. Jose Ramirez, 3B
  6. Jordan Luplow, LF
  7. Tyler Naquin, RF
  8. Roberto Perez, C
  9. Leonys Martin, CF
Sounds like runs.

Like, the diarrhea kind. Three of our first five hitters have an OPS under .670.

So much for keeping Kip towards the bottom of the lineup.... Hit Martin 2nd and Kip 9th.

I'd rather have Roberto Perez and his 7.8 40-yard dash time hitting second instead of Kipnis.

What is the difference?
Batting average their isnt much of a difference. Martin has more speed and more HR's and RBI's with less at bats

Not really familiar with any of these stats, to be honest.

I'd rather move Jose to 2B and spawn in the corpse of Travis Fryman and stick him at 3B just to get rid of Kipnis.
