I would still try to move Bauer for some bats. I trust the SP depth.

Just like @BMAN said, I would still move Bauer. You only use 4 starters in the playoffs, and we have Kluber/Cookie/Clevinger/Bieber, with Plesac looking fine and McKenzie hopefully beating down that door next year.

I'm terrified for Cookie right now though. It's crazy that we lost 3 of our top starting pitchers, had historically awful offense from a few batters, and are still in this thing.

I wonder why we don't pull more 30-year old dudes out of co-ed softball games and give them a shot in the majors. Maybe they're just people who play up to the competition?

I mean they probably couldn't hit any worse than our teams first part of the season! lol

Also you gotta give Plesac credit though since he has the moxie for the pros, just can his stuff and ability to adjust keep him in the pros will be the question mark, but so far he mentally is up to the task of pitching in the pros.
