He's given up 5 runs in his last 3 appearances, totaling 3 innings. 15.00 ERA in his last three outings with two blown saves. Granted, they've been against three of the best offensive teams in baseball, but that's troubling regardless, as those are the exact same teams he's going to be seeing in the postseason. Doesn't bode well for this team's chances in October if he's not able to right the ship, but luckily it's only been a couple of bad weeks against an overall stellar season. Still has six weeks to turn it around.

Made Didi look stupid though. Getting a first pitch strike is always really important, but especially so when hitters are laying off.

Cimber has always sucked in my view...sooner or later you stop fooling people with junk....he's not a 7th or 8th inning guy

Cimber is fine so long as he can keep the ball low/out of the zone. Agreed that he isn't necessarily a full inning guy in the playoffs.
