2019 Series #41 | Indians @ Mets | August 20th, 21st, and 22nd

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Had to feel this was inevitable with the schedule picking up with teams who are of quality as opposed to bottom feeders.

This bullpen doesn't inspire much confidence at all lately. Came in and just shitted the bed badly. Now that will do it.

Twins tied the game 3-3. Cruz hr. Boy he sure healed up from that wrist injury fast....at 39 years of age too.

At least Kluber won't be back. Still pissed we didn't trade him.

Him not being back isn't good at all. As much as I like what I've seen from our pitching, I don't love rolling into the post-season with a few rookies being thrown into the fire. Plesac is starting to hit that rookie wall. Then again, I don't think it was ever realistic to get vintage Kluber back.

Wait, how good has Kluber been in the post season for us?
Oh, yeah. He's been awful.

In this series this was the game i felt most confident in. Matz is the worst of the 3 Mets pitchers we will face and we had Beiber going tonight. Damn.

You've even got the baseball-reference sheet up there, so I'll give you a chance to go back and look at his numbers in 2016 when he literally carried a broken rotation to extra innings in game seven of the World Series.

He sucked against New York and didn't have a great outing last year against Houston, but to say he's been completely awful in his career in the playoffs is false.

This was a terrible game. NYC off day hangover?

Bieber got punished for hangers. Mercado with brutal defense. Poor awareness on the bases cost us the chance to regain the lead early. Laughable AB by Lindor when he was the go ahead run. Pen implosions all around.

Not much room for any more games like these.

I think the Indians are destined for a wild card playoff game. Which is okay considering their season

With our schedule, where we were early in the season, and the way the Twins are juicing their asses off, I don't think the WC game is a colossal failure, especially if we find a way to win it this time.

I said awful, not 'completely awful'. Sadly, for professionals making millions of dollars, you're really only as good as your last xxx. The front office should have seen the trend forming and sold.

Oh would you look at that.... the Indians lost and the crazies are already out.
How does that make it any different than any other day here?
Mercado shitting the bed set me off and I felt like posting. If that bothers anyone, sorry.
