Even if it doesn’t work out for the Tribe, there’s no doubt in my mind that the Twins aren’t even winning a series. A good offense can only take you so far in the postseason.

Does Hand's slider look okay to you guys?

To me, it looks like... flat? I don't know if it might be a decreased spin rate or what, but earlier in the year, it looked like it was moving as much as the Andrew Miller slider. Nowadays it looks to me like it's a frisbee just hovering there waiting to get smacked.

I'm sure part of it's my untrained eye, but it just doesn't look like an unhittable pitch right now.

This was the most researched and insightful on Hand’s recent implosion. Right handed hitters, in particular, are feasting off of his slider due to him leaving it on the outside part of the plate against them. Last night was a good start though, as he recorded three ground ball outs after seeing a huge decrease in GB%
