The Timberwolves have had one winning season in the last 16 years.

They have just drafted so terribly outside of KAT and LaVine who they lost. I think Love was a draft day trade ? Anyways Wesley Johnson, Derrick Williams, Johnny Flynn, Corey Brewer, Kris Dunn etc were awful.

As bad as the Cavs have been at times, that is a miserable franchise.

I see people are strictly looking at stats and box scores. Actually watch his game. He's a dogg. He's only 19 years old.

When I said he reminds me of a young Wade why would people compare stats? If he was putting up Wade's stats right now he would be an All NBA player at 19 which is rare.

I'm saying his feel for the game is a lot better that people though. He plays with the same mentality that Wade plays with. He doesn't look overmatched and he plays hard.

Once he gets more time under him and gets more on court feel for the NBA game he's going to be a monster.

It's silly to look at his stats and just dismiss him because of that.

It's like comparing Okoro to LeBron...yeah, there are *some* similarities, but they're on different planets in terms of talent.

Of course. With that being said Edwards was the #1 overall pick in the draft. having expectations that he ends up as the caliber player that wade was which is at worst a top 10 player for a decade is a reasonable expectation.

Its not.

He has 0 chance.

Yeah, but it took a really bizarre situation for him to go #1. Only good prospects in the draft were PGs, and the Wolves already had a franchise PG, so they just had to hold their nose and pick someone. I don't think it's as bad a situation as the Cavs drafting Bennett, but there's the same sense of #1 pick expectations being placed on a guy who's just sort of an average lottery prospect.

It's gonna come down to coaching. Do you want Anthony Edwards to be a attacking, scoring, explosive guard and you build your system around that and KAT or do you try to fit Edwards into a system and possibly risk ruining his development.

Can't say I'm confident considering the history of that franchises management.

If Edwards looks as good as Dipo did in orl/okc, I will be happy with him

Doesn't GS make the most sense for Beal?

Klay+James Wiseman+The Minnesota pick?

Fun idea: if a player passes the ball from behind the 3-point line, and their teammate catches it and scores without ever touching the ground inside the arc (e.g. on an alley-oop dunk), that should count as 3 points. Long-range alley-oops are very fun, not easy to pull off, and definitely deserve to be worth 3 points. Less boring 3-point attempts on fast breaks, more highlight dunks. I can't see any downside to this. What do y'all think?

Remember when the Suns were the absolute worst team in the NBA? Man, it's good to see them not completely suck. I think they'll creep up the standings as time goes on this season. Right now they're at the bottom of playoff contention.

Freakin' Frank Kaminsky was 2 dimes short of a triple-double. So many people with double-double stats last night.

It would be kinda cool on putbacks if your teammate airballs it too.

Quickley certainly looks like a strong contender to be the "how did he fall to 25 and we pass on him" player from the 2020 draft.
