Kyrie Irving is once against taking a game off “due to personal reasons” a night after getting into a heated altercation with Lakers guard Dennis Schröder,

On Saturday night, Irving got ejected after going after Schröder for calling him the N-word.

On Sunday afternoon it was revealed that Irving would be sitting out the team’s next game due to personal reasons.

Kyrie has some screws loose. Gets all into Schroeder then acts aggrieved from a dude whose half African?

Does anybody remember how I talked about Zion eventually being used as a ball handler/PG in the draft thread? so...that's coming.
Yeah it helps him get his shots but I came away unconvinced. Unless the pels get more shooting. Reminds me a lot of LeBron rookie year

Yeah, posted something similar in S34, but since you brought it up will throw it up here. If they’re doing this I think they should move Ingram. I’d offer Ingram for Beal straight up and see what Washington says. If they say yes, they can put all of their other assets into building around Zion and Beal.

I don’t think Ingram works well as a 3rd banana behind Beal and Zion, and I also think Beal and Zion are a good enough duo to be able to get it done with the right supporting cast.

You know the Ingram deal was made because that's the guy they traded for and he's sorta the proto-typical SF but..I didn't like it at the time. I don't really like his game.

And if it were me...I'd have kept Jrue Holiday to pair with Zion and traded Ingram.

Yeah, I just don’t like the way they fit. I think losing Favors hurt them way more than they anticipated as well.

If Washington would do Ingram for Beal, I’d then turn around and try to make a move for Myles Turner. Zion, Beal, and Turner would be tough to handle, and I think NOP has the assets to make it happen without handcuffing themselves.

Ingram would be fine if he can get his defense back up to what he was doing before he hurt his last season with the Lakers.

Problem is just no shooting from the guards. Bledsoe is just so not the right fit for them. I'd target Devonte Grahams and a guy like Terence Ross and that team would be a terror.

Okoro would flourish there lol

I have no idea what Griff is doing. He makes some great moves (NAW, getting an insane haul for Jrue) and some truly awful ones (Adams extension, Wasting assets on Hayes). He needs to stop getting non-shooting centers. that will not work with Zion unless they have high IQ on offense. Adams seems to have lost a step but otherwise he isnt a terrible fit

Yeah, the Adams extension was awful. Had they not extended him in the trade, they would’ve been able to trade Adams expiring plus picks/players for Vucevic. Vucevic is a bit older than you’d like, but him paired with Zion and and Ingram would’ve been a nightmare front court to deal with.

Awful news from Denver.

Meanwhile Drummond had 3 shots and 4 turnovers last night starting and playing 25 minutes. I wonder if he’s passing out of the post now or if they just aren’t feeding him.
