The move is to trade Kyrie IMO. He can play well off the ball, but he isn't going to be happy.

They are getting their wish with Deandre as their starting center though Booyakishaw!
Trading Kyrie ... let’s revisit that:

- Boston got Kyrie for two miserable years and he didn’t do shit for them in the playoffs. They got nothing when he left.

- We got a pick that became Collin Sexton.
- We got Zizic. Ok, that didn’t work out.
- We got Isaiah Thomas, who we packaged with Channing Frye and a low first round pick for Nance and Clarkson. We only lost Frye for a few months.
- We traded Crowder, Shump and minor assets for George Hill and Rodney Hood. We later turned Hill into the Milwaukee First.
- We traded Clarkson for Exum and a couple 2nds and a trade exemption.
-We traded Exum, the Milwaukee first and used the trade exemption to get Allen and Prince.

So Kyrie provided the vast majority of the assets to get Nance, Sexton, Prince, Allen. That’s not a bad return at all, especially considering Boston got fucked and Kyrie is a shitshow at the moment.

It’s hilarious that the latest haul from the Kyrie trade involves Kyrie’s team that’s also the team that provided the Sexton pick.

Being a Cavalier fan is never dull.

Harden with a trip dub debut with the Nets. One of the best ISO players I've ever seen.

He passed his physical.

Who passed his physical? It was LeVert's physical that was holding up the trade from what was posted earlier today.

Edit - Nmd. I just saw that Brooklyn paid Indiana $2.6 million to complete the trade.

14 assists from Harden (who seems to have reverted from his "James Hardees" self in record time) is wild. The way he plays I wouldn't think he would be setting up people for good shots, but here he is. Joe Harris is going to have a good ol' time with Harden on the team.

He is completely trolling Irving at this point..

Absolutely.
I almost think Kyrie was bong watering it just so he wasn't included in any Houston trades.
But he could basically just ride the pine the rest of the season and the Nets would be straight.

They still have no real front court threat. But they will blow out teams that lack on defense.

Actually want to see them play Golden State again, LOL

Sabonis is one hell of a player: just abusing guys downlow. Post game isn't dead you just need guys who can triple threat to force the mismatches

Sabonis is an excellent passer too, like his dad. It's crazy how many NBA players are related to former NBA players, or if not former NBA players, former national team players (like Luka) or top college or overseas players (like Kyrie). Genetics tells, I guess. There was a study a few years ago that found that almost half of NBA players were related to other "elite" basketball players -- https://www.wsj.com/articles/nba-basketball-runs-in-the-family-1464130236

I think they have a major leg up in "what it takes to make it". Just knowing what the process is and what scouts are looking for goes a long way.

Genetics totally has something to do with it, but being connected and familiar with the NBA game goes a long way.
