I think they are bringing him I slowly and saving him for specific playoffs matchups
This. Malone will not rush a guy into his system until it's time. McGee will play. At minimum he's great for the locker room.

Wendell Carter Jr. has been playing pretty well with his increased minutes since being traded.

Orlando might have really lucked out here with this one.

NO plays no defense what so ever. Really don't know what Griffin is doing with that motherload from his two trades

NO is kind of in a dangerous spot as a franchise and somewhat similar to where the Cavs were in LeBron’s first stint. Zion’s been so good that his presence (along with Graham’s development) has pushed them out of high lotto picks. NO has never been a free agent destination. They’re going to have to use their assets to make a significant trade pretty soon to turn that team into something that can make the playoffs and advance.

The Adams signing was so odd and has set them up badly unless the plan was to use his salary for matching purposes. I know they're defense was much better when Favors played but why the fuck not just sign Favors again instead of giving that ridiculous contract to an aging center who can't shoot. That was like an NFL team giving up big money for a running back which makes no sense in the modern NFL

I have to imagine they unload the farm by trading their assets + Adam's to get Beal + some cap relief.

He & Towns are the only great players on really really bad teams right now. I think we are still a year away from Towns being moved. Beal moves this year.

Yeah, about the only other guy I could see see potentially getting moved would be Sabonis, and that only works if he’s willing to play C full time. Beal is definitely the ideal fit though.

I'd probably give up our pick thus year if it meant getting Sabonis. I know it won't happen but he would be perfect for this team.

What happens with draft order and the playins, if you finish 10th and beat the 8th seed in the playins do you also get the same draft pick the 8th seed would have had? Or do you stay in the lottery
