2020-2021 Cavs Season General Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Either Nance or Love would fit nicely with Allen IMO.
Larry would really help pick the defense back up.. but even Wade helped in that department some. I think Allen needs someone with a little weight playing with him under the basket defensively because he is constantly contesting, so you need guys who can keep with weakside rebounder off the glass a bit.

Either Nance or Love would fit nicely with Allen IMO. Love gives him a big outlet target and should help unclog the lane on offense and Nance can help on defense by covering the backside when Allen gets caught outside on a switch. Both Love and Nance will help with our defensive rebounding woes. Unfortunately, I suspect we won't get to see the full picture until next Fall.

With Wade as injury insurance. It would be great to keep McGee or trade him for someone young and raw maybe. I'd be happy with that and focus on wing and backup PG going forward

we need another ballhandler.. though I kind of like McGee on the roster. don't want too many young guys all at once.

I'd keep all thinks considered, but he may want to go. I guess it sorta depends one what you can get for Drummond too. If you get a younger vet backup back that would be fine.

Totally agree on ballhandler. I'd really like Delly to come back for both emotional and team reasons.

According, to Fedor the Cavs had the 5th hardest schedule after the Rockets game and probably had the hardest ten game stretch than any team in the league.
That’s what I said I bet you give that schedule to the current Lakers and even Bron would struggle. That stretch was stuuuupid hard

If McGee wants to go, we need to honor that. There is no reason for us to waste one of the last years of his career. Teams get reputations around the league for how they treat guys, especially vets as popular with other players as Javale. We want a player friendly reputation for the years when we are looking for a few key pieces to take us to the next level.

I hadn't heard that, though it makes sense. Javale is an interesting guy off the court with his producing and Vegan start ups. I'd like to see the Cavs get some W's under the belt with McGee contributing in his back up role. Feels like he's the kind of vet you want on your team.

But we might get a tantalizing sneak preview of the last 25 games or so. By the way, last I saw cbssports.com had Love listed as a game time decision tonight. But we've seen that before.

Kind of weird, but the NBA may have made a mistake with the play-ins. The trade deadline is usually when interest in the league returns from March Madness.

I'm was hoping for exactly this - many buyers and few sellers. If anybody is interested in Prince or Cedi I would be down with that. And Andre, of course, but that will be tough to work out because of his salary.

I wouldn't call about him, but if someone asked about Garland, I'd listen. I feel like we could have gotten a Garland/Cedi for Ball/Hart deal done mid January, kind of feel like a Ball/Sexton/Okoro/Nance/Allen line up w/Hart/Windler/McGee off the bench would be really solid.

watch charge game las nite K P J looks ok but Brodric Thomas stats 15pts-8 rebounds-5ast-3stl plus he is 6ft 5 and can pass and looks like what we need

That schedule didn't make no sense. I understand, the league is trying to limit the teams road trips as possible but they should have broken that part of the schedule up..Eight of the ten games were against teams that made the playoffs last season.

Just thinking out loud but would anyone be down with a Cedi/Mcgee trade for Dinwiddie at the deadline? I know Dinwiddie is injured but apparently his rehab is apparently ahead of schedule. He can also opt out of his contract this summer too which is a bummer. He'd be such a nice fit as a 3rd guard that could play next to either Sexton or Garland. Both Cedi and McGee have been to the Finals with Lebron and could both potentially help the Nets in bench roles. At this point the Nets desperately need help at center and off their bench. They're taking fliers on the likes of Shumpert at this point.

The Cavs are obviously grooming both Okoro and Windler as future wings and could very well draft one this summer too. I just don't see the minutes for Cedi moving forward. Would having Dinwiddie's bird rights be enough compensation for Cedi and McGee?

Dinwiddie can opt out what a xmas present for the lakers we get nothing you do not trade either one to lakers or anyone else unless you end up with a great deal we are in the driver seat .
