2020-2021 Cavs Season General Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Let me just be blunt about this 5 year plan, there is no plan. In 5 years they will be rebuilding from this rebuild.
This post is about the report that the Cavs plan on making the Playoffs in 5 years, i am not talking about Love contract.

There is always a plan b lol so there is a plan even if you don't like it's potential

My question is...

Had we not resigned K Love. He would be off the book now right? How much money would we have to go out and sign someone? and who would we have targeted?

That sucked. I was so psyched on him going into that playoffs. Even when he was playing well under Beilein, it was hard to get excited about Jordan because he would put you on that roller coaster. In the playoffs he just pressed, took terrible shots, and never shot any 3's. He turned into a pumpkin. At least Hood had a single good game lol.

I like Caruso here, but he will probably get paid.

Lots of talk about the Cavs needing a scoring wing, and I agree. Still, I don't think it is beyond the realm of possibility that one or two of the guys already on the roster can become that guy with another year of experience under their belt. Cedi... I hated him this year, but he has been much better before last year... might have been a "blip" year before continued growth. Stevens... where did this guy come from... mature for a rookie... strong, tough guy... good defense... good mid range shooter... needs to shoot a couple thousand three pointers every day this off season. Windler... apparently was shooting lights out three pointers in training camp but it disappeared during the season... might get it back with health... better on defense, passing and rebounding than I expected. Prince... certainly has the aggressive scoring attitude... I hated him some games and loved him others... might find consistency. Who knows. It could happen.

All four of those guys stink.

Okoro average 16.6 points in May and Fedor says the Cavs are going to get him more involved in the offense next year. Prince did a great job on 3's after coming over; 41.5%. Windler could help if he can stay healthy. And there's always the chance they draft a wing.
