2020-2021 Cavs Season General Discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Looking into the next few seasons, this team is really 1 good/great small forward away from being really, really competitive.

Of course, this league is driven by stars, and it would be great to have that super star SF. But even if not to that level, a big time SF prospect could be the piece to help our young scoring guards and strong rebounding bigs roster to compete in the playoffs.

I initially viewed Okoro as that guy, but watching him play the 1st few weeks of his career, his size just looks more suited to guard the SG position. Cedi is a very capable role player. Same with Prince.

What would you do if we beat the Celtics and Lakers lol

I thought the defense would be worse as Garland and Windler came back, but it was even better. The offense was a LOT better.

Tough defensive teams like the Pacers and Magic gave the Cavs the most trouble, I guess along with the Knicks.

I don't think the Celtics can beat the Cavs if they play with this much confidence. The Lakers could, but it depends on how locked in they are.

Team are going to be more ready no tho

We often talk about the Cavs establishing a culture that can get more questionable attitudes to buy in. What if that questionable talent this year is Andre Drummond. With our depth we can use a short leash and keep him focussed on doing the productive things. He's an X factor when focused

Just watched the game: all season long the defense is extraordinarily and today was just even better. Everyone is getting into the passing lanes, deflecting passes, moving your feet, staying in front, fighting thru screens, such team effort. These defensive plays give you so much easy transition on offense and you see J.B. to bring up the pace to outrun them. Our depth and teamwork has been fascinating.

And what is crazy is it is just the beginning with all the injuries we had. The team plays with honor, intensity, communicating, frustrating the opposition, and lots of heart.

Got to give lots of credit to J.B. and this staff. The team is having fun and us fans are too. This is just the beginning.

So when will Love be back to kill chemistry, defense and take inefficient post shots?
Have you seen Love on the bench? He's celebrating and having more fun than anyone. He's jumping around like a little kid. He looks absolutely thrilled with what he's seeing and why wouldn't he be after all the losing he's been through since LeBron left.
