I’d like to hear who those people would replace him with.

You’re going to need a heavy hitting short list if you’re going to dump him and the work he’s doing in the next couple of classes.
Just for the sake of a rebuttal:

Won't happen because OSU wouldn't want to deal with the optics, but he'd turn the program into a juggernaut.

A few items of note from this last week:

- OSU has added former Penn State PG Jamari Wheeler as a grad transfer. Wheeler is a two time All B1G defensive team selection. Should certainly help shore up the issues OSU had defensively on the perimeter this past season.

- Musa Jallow entered the transfer portal.

- EJ Liddell submitted his name for the draft but will not hire an agent. I'd expect to see him back next season.

Damn EJ must think quite highly of himself because it's obvious he needs a little more seasoning if he doesn't want to be stripped 4 times a game in the NBA.

This would help...

1. Chet Holmgren, 7-foot big/wing, Minnehaha Academy, Minneapolis

With all the proven, experienced players available, we lead off with a high schooler? Yeah, because he’s not just any high schooler. Holmgren might be the top prep player in the country regardless of class. (He ranked No. 2 in our most recent edition of The Athletic 40, and that might have been too low.) A 7-footer with a guard’s skills, a 3-point touch and elite shot-blocking ability, he’s a unicorn who could quickly change any team’s fortunes. His recruitment has been hard to read, but Gonzaga and Ohio State have been among the teams most frequently linked to Holmgren.

Nah, Wesson did the same thing the year before he left. Gives Liddell a summer to work on his game, those weaknesses that get pointed out to him by the pro scouts. Needs to play more as a athletic PF vs a college C to have any traction in the NBA.

West Virginia just landed a commit from another NEO guy.

Josiah Harris. Played his freshman year at Glen Oak before transferring to Richmond Heights for the past two seasons.

Long, athletic forward.

Holtmann better hope these aren’t the best Ohio recruits because that’s three guys in two classes heading to play for Huggy Bear.

Seth Wilson
Kobe Johnson
Josiah Harris

All three have impressed me since they were freshmen.

Duane declared for the draft. I assume he comes back. I don’t even think he’d get drafted.

Unless, he just wants to make his way to Europe and start getting paid to play.

I'd have to imagine both he & Liddell will be back. Can't see either of them being drafted at this point.

I hadn't seen that Liddell declared. I mostly agree with you. Liddell, just because he isn't as small as Duane, might get drafted in the second round. I assume he'll come back though.
