2020 Buckeyes Football

I will be shocked if they have a full season.

I wouldn't be surprised if all these football teams are in bubbles on their campus and have no interaction with anyone that isn't part of the football programs. They might be getting special treatment beyond what they normally get.

The Buckeyes could be at the team hotel for the whole season or they could have taken over a dorm or apartment complex. I would also guess that they are all taking online classes or independent studies if they need a certain class to graduate.

He didn't just say he would play, he elaborated quite a bit on the topic.

Did not sound like a guy that wants to miss this season.

Sure. And I hope he does and is safe.

but I think we’d all agree he could sit out and go at worst #2 in the draft. Until he actually finishes the season, I think there will always be a reasonable probability that he opts out.

Is it a certainty at this point he's a top 2 pick right now? Guess I'd need to read up on some mocks, but I doubt it.

(For the record, I personally believe that should be the case, but I doubt it is right now).

At QB there’s Fields and Lawrence at the top, then everyone else. Some other QB would need a huge year.

Even if I am overstating it, what’s his floor if he he doesn’t play? He’s still a first rounder and I’d bet at least top 20. That’s still enough of an incentive to sit out.

True, but there's a lot that goes into these decisions, it's more than *just* draft status for many of these guys. These are very personal decisions.

Additionally, it's absolutely not a coincidence nobody from Ohio State, Clemson, Alabama or any other elite program has opted out...yet.

An oblique injury pushed Nick Bosa out and he went top-3; thjs thing can legitamitely jeopardize your health. If I’m a high-end player, yeah hell no.
