Agreed. It was great to see her use her experience as a student athlete to argue and fight for the teams that wanted to play a season, even though the "woke nerds" as you call them won the original vote. I believe it was Ohio State, Nebraska and Iowa that fought to make the season happen, wasn't it?

I'll just never be able to forgive Drake for the way he handled the Urban and the Zach Smith situation. I remember hearing that not a single board member or athletic administrator was in favor of suspending him but Drake insisted. I think Urban might've coached one more year had that not happened. We are so fortunate for Day. That shit doesn't happen in college football that often. Urban's shadow was huge.

I honestly don’t fault Drake much for it. That situation could have been diffused before it reached Drake’s office; once it reaches that point, it becomes more representative of the university and how its perceived to handle and recognize domestic violence as an institution.

As a university president I’m not sure I’d want to incur that risk in today’s political climate.

I know we talked about it a little, and that I thought his bad games would impact his stock but..man. I'm so confused by the absolute love Zach Wilson has generated.

I get his major weakness: He doesn't come off of his first read very much. Big issue.

But boy, for teams like Detroit and Carolina and Denver to pass on him for the guys they have.....I can't see all that.
