What I was told last night by a friend who used to be a staff member with a BIG10 football program:

Current plan:
10 games
starting on time
BIG10 Championship then done (trying to get clarification if this means no bowl games)

However, also added that it's 50/50 if they play at all.

Are they still planning on having some percentage of fans in stadium? Still think the NCAA should delay to spring at the least.

So just conference champions and that’s it? Watch UM try to claim a national title if that’s the case.

I don't see it happening. Columbus just put in a 10pm closing time for bars and restaurants. They also said schools should start online in the fall. I'm not sure how they can justify even 15-20k being able to go to the shoe.

It's not just people attending the game. It's all the people who will tailgate without a ticket then pack bars. Same thing probably would happen for Browns and Bengals games. I know alot of people who tailgate Browns games without a ticket to the game.

Selfish me is excited but it’s hard not to worry about the kids
Yeah, but at the same time, the vast majority of the kids want to play. So, the way I look at it is: let them play.

New schedule is here. Opens with Illinois on Thursday, September 3rd. The Game will be moved up a month to October 24th.

At Purdue...welp.

@Lee you fuckers better not ruin another perfect season. Tired of that nonsense.

But, looking at this schedule, I don't really understand why they moved all the games around. Better whatever. Lets get it.

I don't understand how they came up with this schedule. So it's too dangerous to do OOC games, but we will still go to Maryland and host Nebraska. We are afraid of the season getting fucked by COVID, so we bump up big games like UM, but still open against a non-division opponent...

Why not stack the East games first in case we only get through them? That way we can still determine Division champs for a B1G game or at least a split title...

I mean, I'm sure a lot of consideration went into the schedule and there are lots of moving parts, but the whole season feels like a bad idea in the first place.

That all said, I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see Fields go out there and potentially win a Heisman and a national title.
