2020 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It’s gettig super difficult to envision a season; maybe they do a compressed season beginning in January or something if things somehow trend in the right direction. But even if they played sometime in the fall, what does a program do when 12-20+ players test positive after the third game of the season?

Hope they have a deep bench?? :conf (8):

I know Ohio high schools have discussed the possibility of moving the fall 2020 season to spring 2021

So dumb. Not a chance any college seasons take place.
Thank god for pro sports.

i haven’t followed the sports scene but either:
They also don’t play
Or
They play and it will be shortened and live sports won’t have the crowd.

It just wont be the same. I have accepted it but hope I am wrong.

My guess is that College football will try to have a spring season if they can. It's not just ticket sales but donations that is heavily linked to sporting events. TV revenue alone will most likely be a last ditch option if they feel they can't get in fans, alumni, and donors to the games before the end of the 2020-2021 school year.

So tOSU cancelled their game versus Bowling Green, but will still travel to Pennsylvania and Michigan for games?

If the SEC does conference only, the Florida Gators will travel to Mississippi to play, but will cancel their game versus Florida State?

College football isn't happening this year. This is just the first step in canceling the season. Time to start creating the 2020 buckeyes in NCAA Football 2014.
