2020 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Hopkins interests me because Purdue boys are usually well coached in blocking, plus he has some athleticism according to his receiving numbers. Trautman is a player I've only read about, but a tight end with a brain is a very special weapon in the passing game. It's the only reason Jason Witten is still out there padding his stats in Big D.

I had a Logan Wilson post in here a few pages back... great prospect. I always perk up when I hear a high school quarterback switched positions because they just understand the game from a team perspective better than prospects who started in their narrow role.

being a buckeye fan was pleasantly surprised at the buckeye numbers.

KJ Hill at 6-0
A. Mack with 10 hands and wingspan of 79

Hamilton, Jackson, and Harrison have NFL numbers.

Ben Bartch is absolutely dominating the Senior Bowl.

People have said he's "by far" the best OL on the South team.

So lets go to the tape.

Ben Bartch, OT, St. John’s (Division III)
A former tight end, Bartch worked hard to add good weight over the past few seasons, and it has paid off; he was tipping the scale at 308 pounds Tuesday morning. During practice, he did a nice job getting out of his stance to cut off speed, relying on his length (33 inches) to knock down and counter what rushers threw at him. There were times when Alabama’s Terrell Lewis got past him, but a few hiccups were expected, especially when he allows his base to narrow. However, he displays natural awareness for the position, with the nasty temperament to match. If he keeps it up throughout the week, Bartch could follow in the footsteps of former Division III standout Ali Marpet and rocket up draft boards.

The more I think about this draft the more I want Isaiah Simmons- Clemson at #10. Then take the best tackle on the board with our 2nd rd pick. Unless one of the top 2 tackles fall to 10, then ya gotta take the tackle.

Word out of the Senior Bowl is that Ohio State representatives are crushing the competition in practice. I would be thrilled if the Browns could pry Larry Johnson away from Ohio State to be the defensive line coach. Sorry Buckeye fans, I know you don't want to steal from Peter to pay Paul... but he has been outstanding.

You leave Larry right where he is dammit! He's one of the best recruiters we have on staff and it's obvious he knows what he's doing.

Yeah no thanks. For the exact reason you stated. Keep those Brown toxic nasty ass curly ass fingernailed hands off my Buckeyes.

No surprise there. Ohio State is recruiting, developing and playing at an extremely high level right now. This years team was special.

Think we are going to start to see guys like Terry McLaurin coming out every year. Great player that people nationally don't really know about until he's killing it in the NFL as a rookie. OSU had a lot of great players this year that didn't get the attention they deserve.
