2020 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
JK has a case to make for RB1 with Swift and Taylor.

Tremendous progression this last year.

Those are certainly my top three for dynasty purposes pending athletic testing and landing spots. A shame Etienne went back to school.

How is the linebacker class? One elite one and a couple good ones? Are they overrated? Any depth or possible gems at that position?

If you include Simmons in the Linebacker class, then there is one good one.

It's a really weak off ball linebacker class. Really weak. Queen is maybe the next best guy and he barely played in college.

I heard Simmons is a really good versatile prospect. Doubt he drops far. Only other names I've seen are Baun and Murray. Haven't done much research on them. The other names on the prospect list I haven't heard anything about at all.

Baun is great, but hes an edge.

I dont know much about Murray.

I really look at the draft in tiers. Doesn't mean a guy will be drafted there because needs and value come into factor for each team plus some GMs are just dumb. Currently I am seeing 45 with 1st round talent. 10 of them are WRs. No way does 10 WR go in the 1st round. The depth of WR probably hurts Jeudy and Lamb. If you have a top 10 pick in1st and 2nd you might as well wait to the 2nd and get one of the WR who falls out of the 1st. LB is by far the weakest part of this years draft. Murray, Braun, and Queen are really 2nd round talent but with such a weak class someone might reach for one in the 1st. I am seeing a lot of trades in the top 10--Teams moving up to get a QB and teams moving down because their needs at that pick doesn't equal the value. Washington/Detroit at 2/3 moving down because of the rush on QBs could happen.

What about the running backs?

Been thinking quite a bit about what happens if Tristan Wirfs is off the board at 10, with Becton & Thomas still being available.

There should be a number of elite prospects still on the board, and teams like the Broncos (three 3rd round picks), Colts (two 2nd) and Atlanta (two 2nd) and Las Vegas (two 1st, three 3rd) would have the ammunition to move forward and get the guy they want. Potentially Jerry Jeudy, Ceedee Lamb, Derrick Brown, Justin Herbert.

Browns should be in a position to acquire an extra 3rd and move down just 3-4 spots.

What about the running backs?

I don't see a Barkley or Elliot in this draft. Moss/Dobbins/Swift/Taylor all look like late 2nd round picks. But Penny went in 1st 2 years ago so it wouldn't surprise me. But I compare all of them more to Sanders talent wise who went late 2nd then Jacobs who went late 1st last year. Combine could help bump them up if the put up good numbers.

My worst nightmare is the Brown's taking the 3rd OT at the 10th pick but maybe the 3rd OT taken is the 1st OT on their board. If the do I want to know the person who pounded on the table and said this is the best OT in the draft.

You like Wirfs more the Thomas and Wills? I think Wills is way overrated but everyone else likes Wills and Thomas more then Wirfs.
