2020 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
My worst nightmare is the Brown's taking the 3rd OT at the 10th pick but maybe the 3rd OT taken is the 1st OT on their board. If the do I want to know the person who pounded on the table and said this is the best OT in the draft.

You like Wirfs more the Thomas and Wills? I think Wills is way overrated but everyone else likes Wills and Thomas more then Wirfs.

I like Wirfs for this scheme better than both.

On talent, I take Thomas before Wills and Wirfs.

I don't see a Barkley or Elliot in this draft. Moss/Dobbins/Swift/Taylor all look like late 2nd round picks. But Penny went in 1st 2 years ago so it wouldn't surprise me. But I compare all of them more to Sanders talent wise who went late 2nd then Jacobs who went late 1st last year. Combine could help bump them up if the put up good numbers.

I think there are at least three RBs better than Jacobs in this draft. Maybe four or five. Sanders was clearly the best talent in last year's draft as far as backs go.

I'm a big Miles Sanders guy. But, I disagree with you here. From what I saw of Josh Jacobs this past season, he was probably slightly underrated in the draft process. The dude's legit. He can do everything you ask of a modern NFL back.

Sanders, meanwhile, is still struggling to run like an NFL back. He's not seeing holes, not making cuts.

There isn't a RB in this class I'd take ahead of Josh Jacobs. If you want to talk about where they were both at as prospects, then I could see an argument for Dobbins ahead of him.

Yeah not sure at all how you got to this conclusion Sanders was horrible last year as a rookie.

He had 1327 yards from scrimmage, averaged 4.6 YPC, and over 10 yards per reception on 50 catches

what part of that is horrible

He was fantastic as a rookie. The team just brought him along slowly because they also had Jordan Howard. He tore it up in the back half of the year when they gave him bell cow touches.

I mean he had one single game with over 100 yards rushing...

I guess the receiving numbers were nice?

shit isn’t just about 100 yard games anymore. Success rates and how efficient you are with your touches are more important in a league driven by passing.

Miles Sanders...Saquon Barkley...is there a difference?

Judging a guy by how many 100 yard rushing games he had is about the dumbest shit I've ever heard. He was good and, more importantly, efficient this year, both in the passing and running game. He was #5 in juke rate and #7 in yards per touch.

Miles Sanders...Saquon Barkley...is there a difference?

Yeah. Barkley is a generational athlete. Sanders is a great athlete.

Sure, number of carries.
Are you actually stating that in your opinion, the primary difference between Saquon and Miles Sanders is number of touches?

Because I have a hard time believing that's your take on the two of them.

In terms of production, sure.

Saquon is a superior talent, but talent doesn’t always necessitate production.
