2020 Game #1 | #5 Ohio State vs. Nebraska | October 23rd, 2020 @ 12 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We were spoiled by JK the past few years.

The run game is basically Justin Fields. I'm not at all impressed by any of the running backs today.

Would have liked to see Chambers more, but yeah that’s a predicament

Shaky start but the final looked more like our expectations. Loved getting over 50, hate when we waste the chance.

Fields may not end up putting up the gaudiest number totals, but if he plays like this all year it could be the most efficient seasons in school history. And maybe that will play to his favor in a Heisman race where everyone has wonky schedules and disparate games played. So glad we got to have this season with him.

The officiating was really bad in this game, but I was mostly good with the targeting calls (in fact I think they may have missed one on us). The rule and enforcement needs refinement, that's for sure, but I think it's a necessary evolution for the longevity of the sport. Couldn't understand how the B1G "expert" and Klatt were trying to justify easily avoidable targeting calls. I was pissed against Clemson because the offensive player moved into the helmet rather than the other way around (as I recalled it, certainly has scarlet colored glasses).

Also LOL at MSU, would be happy to see Rutgers become competitive on a regular basis.

So this was the first Ohio State game I've had to miss in no joke, probably 10+ years. I have blacked out for many and had little to no recollection, but I was still there in some capacity.

Going to watch the expedited game when I get home from work. Anything specific I should be watching out for? OLine, LBs, secondary, etc.

Tell me what the LBs were doing for the first half. Seemed always out of position.

If Michael Penix he any accuracy PSU would be down 20+

Want to see more of Chambers in the backfield.

Excited for next year bc I wont have to see borland or Werner any more.

Defense needs more reps. Hopefully we see one of the Ends step up the way Haskell did in the interior.

The Big Ten needs to have higher standards than what Nebraska (and Rutgers I don't care what happens today) puts out every year for football and basketball. What are some replacement options?

Is Al Washington an upgrade?

recruiting wise, absolutely. Jury is still out and probably won't be able to judge until Werner and borland are gone

You look at Nebraska, and Florida State, and Texas (and now likely Michigan State)...and just remember it can always get worse.

So enjoy this ride while we have it. We arent always guaranteed to be a national power every single year wherein 52-17 is expected.

If Nebraska can fall this low for this long, anyone can.

Would take a very sustained series of unfortunate events for OSU to fall off significantly. The fact that they’ve now survived two coaching changes and have only gotten better for it (at least from Tress to Urb) says all you need to know about the program they’ve built.

Fields is simply amazing. This offense is undoubtedly elite, though I would like to see more from Teague & Sermon.

Was really nice to see the defense get their shit together in the 2nd half. Pretty tired of seeing Tuf Borland, though.
