he would love it
1) is that reverse tampering
2) how would they be able to afford lindor after paying bauer?
Bauer made a similar tweet about the Padres rotation needs.

Bauer has said that he will only sign one year contracts . If he holds to that view, any team really
going for it can afford him.

Yesterday’s slate was pretty boring. All of the games were blowouts. I hope game 5 tonight is a good one. It will be interesting to see how the starters respond on short rest.

Whitey Ford has died - bad time for 60's pitching icons

It's a crazy to think about how good the Rays still are with the number of injured pitchers they have.

They have *eight* major league pitchers on the injured list!

As talented as the Dodgers are, that back end of the bullpen has issues. It may be the undoing of them.

A good reason to pick up Hands option and see if we can get a prospect or two. But who knows he has been a playoff fail too.
The Hand that the Dodgers need.. doesn't wear a blank spot on his sleeve where Chief Wahoo once resided.. The Dodgers are not bereft of talented arms that can take on the toughest spot in the pen.. they just lack experience. It's clear Kenley Jansen is no longer the beast at the back of the bullpen for the Dodgers.. Brusdar Graterol can be & probably should be.. The Dodgers have a trio of young starters (Urias, Gonsolin and May) to go along with their top two, Walker Buehler and Clayton Kershaw.. This leaves a host of young, hard throwing hounds in the Dodgers minor league system including a little guy, Gerardo Carrillo..

I think you are correct.. the Dodgers are going to need an infusion of an arm or two into their pen going forward.. perhaps not an aging, declining wiley veteran...

Thoughts?..

Derek I think that ship has sailed, but I would love to be wrong. The risk of getting stuck with paying Hand $10M is too much for the Indians.

same - there also seems to be some talk that teams may like to have Hand in their bullpen but not as their closer
