2020 NBA Draft

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Damn, Perry is a specimen. Would not mind picking him up like we did with Porter.
Oturu has really good shooting form, didnt think he could shoot

Most recent mock drafts have wiseman falling to 5-7 range. With the 5th pick, if available, will the cavs draft Wiseman over 3&d wing prospects? Great measurables and athleticism, with a workable shot but cannot switch defensively. Is he worth the risk at 5?

If he is there at 5 we will draft him for sure, we will probably be on the phone to ship Drummond out the minute after as well

Wiseman reeks of being a guy who has all the physical tools to be a very good player, but who just doesn't love the game. And that is a fatal flaw.

Do not want.

I thought the same thing about Okongwu when I saw his interview.

If by any chance Weissman is there we virtually run to podium and as noted above we ship that coach killer Drummond to the Knicks

I think Okongwu's attitude is a bit of an issue. I don't see the same for Wiseman, but otoh I don't LOVE Wiseman's game.

Josh Green is growing on me @Nathan S

I'm concerned about Wiseman's love of the game not because of interviews, but because of his reported inconsistent motor in high school, poor FT shooting (suggesting he doesn't like to practice), lack of physicality, and then bagging out on the season. What kind of guy who loves the game chooses not to play?

Okongwu seems to play hard - no motor issues that I've seen. What's the attitude issue?

I feel like Okongwu lacks fire..
It was also reported and he said so as well that he doesn't communicate on the floor. He is a quiet guy, and doesn't play with a high motor from what ive seen.

This draft is stacked imo. I hope we can trade back into the first round like we did last year.
Stacked? This is likely the worst draft since Anthony Bennett went one. You may want to temper your enthusiasm on these YouTube warrior workout videos. We have learned and been tricked many times in RCF draft history. Many of the guys you love will be in Europe about four years from now.

Yeah I share the same thoughts (don't know if I can call them concerns), he seems like a quiet, low intensity guy. Wiseman to meet is more of an airhead.

Neither is for sure a career damning trait (well low iq probably) but they won't be your leaders.

I dunno, could be deep with not much top end talent. Definitely some interesting guys after the lottery

Funky shots like that don't always extend to NBA 3. Can't believe so many are worried about Haliburton's shot and not Vassell's

170 college 3's and shot 42% from the newly extended line.

He also was 19/42 from NBA range (45%) this past season.

Repeatability of mechanics doesn't always mean it esthetically looks perfect but if you ignore the load of his shot and focus on his base, his forward momentum through his jump, off hand off the ball and a high release / follow through, it all looks good to me. Also looks like a shot he's going to easily be able to get off against a contest.

Don't fall victim to the esthetic of him loading behind his head. This is a really nice sequence at initiation and release. Don't be distracted by the middle part.
