2020 NBA Draft

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
is 9-13 really a bad spot for a player like that? I feel like there was barely 9 solid starting/strong contributing level players in the 2015 draft

I think it's a bit high...if a player's ceiling is league-average on one end of the court, then it better be through the roof on the other end of the court for me to draft him in the lottery. I don't think Kaminsky was that caliber of offensive prospect, and I don't think Garza is either though he may be a bit closer.

Memphis-Houston on ESPN 2 right now. After a slow start, Precious Achiuwa is dominating early in this second half. Really impressive prospect to me: Super mobile (had a great pump fake and drive to start the half), active, and looks to project as a great switchable defender in the NBA. Has a surprisingly nice touch for a 58% FT shooter. Reminds me a lot of Montrezl Harrell. Also, he's absolutely huge and a double-double machine.

I know opinions on Sexton are mixed around here, but I think it's important to establish a team culture and identity. Pairing Achiuwa and Sexton could set the tone for us as a scrappy/hard-nosed team.

Is Malachi Flynn the next Fred VanVleet?

A few years away from helping a team. Non shooter, not the right fit.

He is, to me, the most misused (possible) NBA wing in this draft class. Look at his high school reel......he is pretty gifted with the ball in his hands....just fluidity, step back, solid jumper mechanics, euro step, etc. ...and he's largely been relegated to a screener in the P&R and a hustle guy on the offensive glass after the Wiseman fiasco.

I don't know that he will be......but he's the one prospect I really think could out kick his draft slot......just because I think he is the classic example of what happens to a lot of possible NBA wing prospects in college. They're just big, so their college coaches have them hang around the paint and do big man things.....but all of his high school and AAU film says he's potentially a guy who can be a wing at the NBA level. He's for sure a few years away but I think he's one of the handful of guys who you may look back on and say "How did that guy get drafted 16th".

Def more length, and more of a ball handler. The concerns seem to be shooting from the outside on a consistent basis.
The scouts really have their work cut out for them because this is a really tough draft. My guy is still obi toppin

Luka paving the way for a guy like this

years ago he’d be talked about as a draft and stash player. I hope we don’t get caught up trying to find the next Luka

If we draft him I actually pray this is a horrible take because that’ll mean we did indeed find the next Luka lol

Not about the Luka thing..
About the draft and stash. This is not a draft and stash prospect man..not in any era of basketball lol

I know everyone but the Spurs were afraid of euroleague for the longest time

if he’s that good I’m all for it

How is it that every high school highlight reel for every single prospect of any significance for the past decade or more, regardless of height or athleticism, is jam-packed with completely absurd Dominique-esque dunk contest dunks performed in-game and often in traffic, even? Always such a crazy phenomenon for me.

This should be something that can be improved upon because looking at footage of him, there doesn't seem to be much wrong with his form.
