2020 NBA Draft

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not convinced by any of them yet. It's tough.. any big sleepers?
We need a two way center.. Hows the 2021 draft? I just dont want to sick another tear and the c position us our most glaring weakness by far.

I really like Garuba in 2021, who I've mentioned in this thread a couple times. He has all the tools, and at Real Madrid he's in an ideal developmental environment. Next man up in a long line of superstar international bigs, IMO.

Any interesting athletic rollers shot blockers in the Gafford mold in 2020 that can be picked with a late first?

Maybe we need to take an athletic wing and find a gem later if Wiseman does not impress.

Hard to say...those guys are super hard to spot at the high school level. Case in point Hayes last year. Hopefully there are some prospects like him this year.

Interesting to see how Terry Armstrong fits in with South East Melbourne when he is back from injury, his team is rolling without him and he struggled in the preseason but no doubt they give him a few minutes each game at least. Doesnt help he plays the same position as Creek who really should be on an NBA team

RJ Hampton has really struggled against the NBA teams

God lamelo's team is trash, he should have been put on the Phoenix would have been so much better for him

Euro guys treading water at best. Hampton's Australian League season opener is in a few hours; he'll try to get back on track after a couple of predictably rough preseason games against NBA teams. Ball really separating from the pack and earning his spot in the high-lottery conversation.

excited to see Lamelo in person tomorrow night but I hope he leaves with a big fat L

Hampton was a ghost vs the Kings, Casper pretty much walked past him to the hoop to seal the win too

Man, this international class had so much hype. Not it feels like just Ball and a bunch of guys. Wonder how long the Breakers persist with Hampton in the starting lineup if he plays like this.

Game 1 going that poorly?

His two preseason games were quite solid (not the NBA exhibitions)

Yeah, pretty big step back from his preseason games. In his second preseason game he actually lead his team in points and minutes played. Game 1 of the regular season he was 6th on his team in minutes (21), 5th in points (7). He wasn't ridiculously inefficient, but the size of his role should be concerning for anyone expecting him to be a mid/high lottery pick. Ball in contrast could make a strong case that he's the #1 guy on his team.

well i went to the game tonight, Lamelo was ok. His lack of shooting may be a real problem though. I don't believe NBL three line is NBA range.. could be wrong on that though.
Not related to draft but must say Mitch Creek is probably better than half of our roster, really surprised Twolves let him go. Also no idea how John Roberson has never played NBA even just briefly, must be his lack of hight because he shoot lights out. To think Benson has played NBA and Roberson hasn't, weird.

Draft looks real shitty.
I mean, some itneresting international prospects, but other than that, what the heck do we do?
really wish it was 2021.

I'll tell you what, if Garland is the truth, we need to surround him with low usage players who are also capable defensively.
No one really stands out to me in this draft who is head and shoulders above the rest. Anthony Edwards looks good in a vacuum, but not sure about his fit with Garland. We do not need another iso scorer on this team who will take the ball away from Garland.

That's why we really, really have to see what we have in Windler this year. If he looks great and a great fit with DG, then it makes it so much easier, and then we can focus on other positions. We need to get him on the court asap..healthy ofcourse.

What a time to be bad...not.
