People love the free market system and extoll its virtues in a capitalistic society until the businesses decide it's in their best interest to punish or remove an employee for hurting their image/reputation. Suddenly it becomes "oppression" and "cancel culture" just because the person is too obtuse to understand consequences and accountability in the very system they praise all the time.

Anyone see the "likes" by Jed on Twitter. Saying people live in Cleveland so they must be miserable. Dudes not that good. Hope he's on his way out of here as soon as possible
Wait, did he post something himself or did he simply just "like" other people's posts?

Pretty much liked posts saying people who live in Cleveland are miserable and that our fans are classless (not wrong there but probably not q good idea to like it) and he posted about going to boo people at their job.

He apparently doesn't like it here. He's not been that great. Personally I'd see what we could get for him and try to replace him

the only reason I hold onto him for another year or 2 is that he is still on his rookie deal. Deal him after that

I don't think the guy gets, it's the NFL, all fan bases have drunken assholes. People go to those games, get hammered, yell shit they'd never say sober and yeah some of them are inappropriate. Not going to change if it's in Dallas, Minnesota, or Cleveland. Maybe LA since they don't have any fans.

He's soft. Gets hurt a lot and play suffers. I can live with keeping him another year or 2, but definitely would like to see a development LT drafted in 3rd or 4th rd coming up.

He’s a league average LT, that’s a decent return for that pick. Not great but the Browns didn’t blow it.

A lot of these guys have never had beer accidently poured down their backs in December at the age of 12 while watching their team fight to stay out of last place and it shows.

That's a pretty objective view of the selection.

Personally, I wanted Wirfs over Willis-but I wasn't crazy about the kid drafted by NYG, either. I thought Wirfs had plenty enough athleticism to move to LT in the NFL, and the Iowa OL pedigree makes for a nice tie-breaker for me. I also lean heavily towards prospects who were wrestlers and elite throwers in HS, which Wirfs was.

Besides the difference in accolades and positions (in all fairness), Willis' injuries are starting to become an issue. Having Conklin miss games over the last two years probably magnifies things for Willis...but it still kinda sucks.

I would have to wonder if Conklin can't come back to an elite level.....if moving Jed back to RT is on the table.

Accidentally?

Kinda seats are we talkin about here? Mr Big Spender over here.

I doubt they spent much. I got seats like these for free before because the actual big spender decided it was a waste of his time to spend any more time on an awful football team at the end of another awful year. I spent the game steadily drinking and yelling positive reinforcement to Swagger.
